Falsified System The adversarial system of our country is that whoever presents the best case wins the trial. This means that it is possible for an innocent person to be convicted of a crime that they did not commit. However, there is a saying in America, and it go like this: We d rather have 10 guilty people go free, and have 1 innocent person be convicted (Mr. Perse, 4 th period Law).
