In William Shakespeare s, Julius Caesar, he proves to the readers and the people of Rome that the many different types of persuasion will have different results. Both Brutus and Antony made a speech to the Romans, hoping to convince them that what happened was either right or wrong. Brutus used the circular reasoning technique to prove the justification of Caesar s death. On the other hand, Antony used a combination of name calling and loaded words to win the people over. Brutus and Antony both spoke to the same set of people, yet Brutus didn t have as much impact on the Roman s like Antony. Antony used name calling and loaded word together.

He proved to the common people that Caesar was a genuine guy.
While Brutus failed to persuade anyone that killing Caesar would improve their lives from an imaginary slave chain that Caesar was putting on the people. There are many different ways to convince people to view points through your eyes, but if you have nothing to support your evidence, like Brutus, you won t be able to persuade anybody. Antony used a different technique that would seem childish in many eyes, but Antony was able to get his point around that Brutus was indeed honorable, but not forgiving for what he did. Antony was able to provide and convince the people to look down upon the conspirators for killing the true honorable man, Julius Caesar.
