The book Mein Kampf (My Struggle) was written by Adolf Hitler before World War II (1933). Hitler was an evil genius, which wrote of how he felt about racial elements and how he felt they were differently situated. Hitler also wrote of the importance of propaganda, and the correct use of the lies propaganda creates. The ideas Hitler speaks of are actually very brilliant and well thought out, they are just used to an extreme. Hitler was a very smart man when it came to propaganda. This is proven by the way he was able to rally the German people, the master race, the Herrenfolk together again a common enemy, the Jew.

Hitler felt that having different types of people within the same area was a great disadvantage; he felt that if the German people should have a common herd so to speak. This is supported when he says, If the German folk, in its historical development, had possessed that herd-like unity which other peoples have enjoyed, the German Reich would today be mistress of the globe. (Pg. 221) The one thing Hitler says which really stands out is when he refers to the uniting of racial elements, which will form the foundation which he designates with the word super individualism this is his idea of creating the perfect herd, an Arian race. Hitler s use of propaganda and the way in which he viewed it were amazing. Being able to rally a whole nation against one common enemy was pure genius. Propaganda which in an essence is nothing more than a lie, was used to convince the German people that the Jews were not bad, but that they were a disease in which the German people had to eradicate in order to survive as a strong and healthy nation. When it came to propaganda, Hitler believed that it must at the least appeal to the mass of the people.

He believed and says, the larger the mass of men to be reached, the lower its purely intellectual level will have to be set (Pg. 222) this idea is key in making propaganda work for Hitler. Another point in which Hitler makes is, propaganda points out to the masses definite facts, processes, necessities, etc. (Pg. 222) Finally Hitler points out that all of this will work as long as you are able to convince the people of their cause, and are able to convince the people that there is only one enemy, and that enemy is any aggressor toward their cause. This cause was the creation of an Arian nation and the uniting of different racial elements until the final goal was achieved, and the German people had their own herd. Hitler and Germany s goal for world supremacy came to an end in 1945 when the allied forces and Hitler s supposed death defeated them. It was in 1943 when the U. S.

State Department got a hold of Hitler s Mein Kampf and translated it. This when they found out of Hitler s racial views and how he thought propaganda could help him to create a unified Germany. His goal for a unified Germany was wonderful, but his methods were immoral and unjust. Hitler was an especially smart man, unfortunately he used his knowledge of propaganda and his leadership skills in the wrong way and therefore killed millions of Jews and now people think of him not as an intellectual man, but rather as a monster. These people are correct he is a monster, but he was a very smart monster.
