(3) As I have stated earlier, the death of my grandmother did not result in me spilling even a single tear, even though that there are not that many people out there, whom I love as much as I loved granny, due to the fact that she did fulfill her purpose in life, before passing away. Despite the fact that I even now I do miss her a lot, I never experienced any supernatural occurrences, associated with grannys death no birds had ever landed on my shoulders, no electrical lights began flickering in my room, while I was enjoying the Caribbean cruise, and no ghosts had confronted me in the darkness, afterwards. Due to the rise of New Age philosophy, in recent years, many people are now being strongly convinced that they should be able to sense the death of their close relatives, regardless of geographical distance. I think of such claims with utter skepticism, as they appear to be nothing but psychological extrapolation of peoples existential inadequateness, in their essence. People always strive to think of their existence as representing a supreme value it might very well be the case, but only within a context of them living as integral elements of their nation and race.

There might be a chance for individual to gain a personal immortality (as we have illustrated earlier), but their chances of gaining actual immortality, directly corresponds to their ability to be remembered by representatives of next generations. The concept of nation can be best explained by the mean of a wooden stick, with one of its ends being set on fire when we quickly rotate such stick in circular movement, the sticks burning end will create an illusion of a ring of fire. Just as the ring of fire consists of individual points, through which the burning end goes, while being rotated, the concept of nation contains of lives of individuals. The brighter are the lives of these individuals; the brighter or more advanced is a particular nation to which they belong. It is not that my grandma was able to give birth to many children (my uncles and aunts), but she also succeeded in instilling them with her outlook on life, which means that the part of her continue to live in her children and grandchildren. It is not by the pure accident that I had adopted a rather light-hearted attitude towards grannys death apparently, such my attitude relates to her own vision of death as being just as natural as life.

Whatever the shocking it might sound I am happy with the fact that granny had died just in time, before growing increasingly burdened with her own existence. I guess deep inside, grandma felt some kind of guilt, over the fact she lived much longer, comparing to her relatives in Ukraine. If we think about it analytically there are no many good reasons for people to continue on with their existence, after they cease to be biologically productive. People not affected by religious poison of Christianity used to be well aware of this fact. For example, Eskimos used to leave their elders in the middle of snowy nowhere, after they would reach a certain age. In Papua- New Guinea, the natives used to kill and eat their old relatives, up until very recently, as something absolutely natural.

It is only in Western countries, where assisted living facilities are being stuffed with aging White folks, even though that the money, spent to keep them there, should have been used to encourage young Whites to have more children. My grandma always used to say that it does not make much of a sense to her that, while in old folks house, she used to be getting a choice of at least four gourmets meals, five times a day, whereas taking their children to McDonalds is often only the way for young White parents to treat kids, simply because of lack of money, on the part of these parents. Despite her advance age, my grandma was well aware that there was something grossly unnatural in her life being artificially maintained. Apparently, she belonged to those people who are able to exercise a full control over their lives and even their deaths.

While being harsh on others (she never managed to begin referring to Blacks other then negroes), granny has always been harsh on herself, which probably was one of the reasons why she had eventually lost her will to live in time when it was necessary. Nowadays, citizens are being indoctrinated that human life has a value of thing in itself, which is why every individual should be preoccupied with celebration of its uniqueness, even when such uniqueness solemnly corresponds to persons ability to consume French fries by tons. Yet, the truth is - there are people whose lives represent an objective value, while the lives of others represent a transgression against the laws of nature. Apparently, my grandma strived not to become a burden to society and she had succeeded in it to the best of her ability. This is why neither of the members of our family had to undergo a psychological counseling, in order to be able to cope with grandmas death. Soldiers at the front line never lament the deaths of their comrades, because the last thing the souls of fallen soldiers (if such exist) need, is to observe a mournful expression on the faces of their friends.

It is a well-known fact that the funeral of a former soldier often turns into the celebration of life, with mourners forgetting the fact that they were supposed to feel sad, after getting high on alcohol and drugs. I am not a soldier, neither was my grandma, but there was something undeniably stoic in how she died and in about how I received the news of her death. One time, I happened to walk by Chinese funeral procession and it shocked me that there were many lamenting women, in the crowd, even though that they did not appear as being particularly sad. It is only later that I had found out that hiring lamenting women, to be present at the funeral, is a commonplace practice among Blacks, Chinese and Hispanics.

Just as one of my favorite literary characters Wolf Larsen, in Jack London's novel Sea Wolf once said, after being asked to provide a prayer to the dead sailor, who was just about to be thrown into the ocean: I only remember one part of the service, he said, and that is - And the body shall be cast into the sea.

So cast it in (London, p. 75). Once someone is dead, there is very little point in doing anything other then digging up a grave, big enough to serve for the deceased person as last accommodation. Whatever the cynical such suggestion might sound, but it is a truth. For the members of Christian clergy, attending funerals represents a steady source of income.

These self-proclaimed representatives of God on Earth think that they are being made eligible to receive substantial donations, by the very fact of their presence at the funeral. The members of our family, and especially my father (who is an atheist, just like me), do not necessarily subscribe to this point of view, which is why Ukrainian Catholic priest was being told that his services are no longer needed, after he had murmured a prayer. As I have mentioned earlier, my grandma was only formally affiliated with Catholicism, which is why in her last conversations with my mother, she had not even made any provisions for the priest to be present at her funeral. Still, my mom decided that it would be in order, just to please our overly religious neighbors. Therefore, my experience of dealing with the death of a loved one cannot be associated with intense suffering or with acute psychological anxiety, on my part, as it is the case with majority of people.

The life is too short to be preoccupied with negativity, even as a part of paying respect to deceased relatives. Just as Jesus once said let the dead to take care of the dead. If there was a life after death, it would have to deal with relativistic properties of time, as perceived by dying individual. My grandma was a very kind individual, who took a particular pleasure in buying me numerous presents and I will always remember that.

Still, since there was nothing I could do to prevent her from dying (even if I could, I would not, because I would hate to see her suffering, while being slowly turned into a vegetable), I did not experience the sensation of anguish, by the time I heard of her death. Moreover, I do not feel a particular urge to attend her grave, as my mother does, because I do not see much point in doing it. The reason why people (especially Hispanics, who had created a Catholic cult of death) go to the cemetery to talk to their dead relatives, is because of their inability to utilize their sense of logic to the full extent of this word. Apparently, they believe that they will eventually become reunited with their deceased relatives in the kingdom of heaven, after Jesus issues them with harps, to play and to praise his name forever. As saying goes ignorance is bliss.

I had consciously chosen in favor of facing the objective reality as to what it really is, without having to cling to the illusionary prospects of being placed in Christian paradise, after my death. The same applies to my grandmother knowing her well, makes me doubt of whether she would be able to enjoy herself in Christian paradise, while being surrounded by imbeciles, retards and children, as her only companions. This is why I prefer to remain intellectually honest with myself, by not attending grandmas grave, simply because I do not feel like doing it and I do not see any objective reasons for me to reconsider my point of view, in this respect.
