In other words, person needs to be able to receive an emotional satisfaction, out of realizing the fact that his job corresponds to his existential essence. I personally hate professional careers that are associated with adoption of corporate ethics, on the part of employees. Yuppies that spend half of their life being locked up in tiny cubicles with their computers are proud of the fact that they make more money than furniture movers do, for example. However, this is only possible in exchange for their willingness to suppress their own individuality, because corporate world does not tolerate originality and uniqueness. I hate office workers as much as I hate governments bureaucrats, because in my eyes, they cease to be a real people. As practice shows, such individuals are nothing but narrow-minded, dogmatic and self-righteous embodiment of metaphysical superficiality. They represent the artificial essence of post-modern reality. This is why, no incentive can be good enough to motivate me to put on a grey suit and head out to the nearest hi-rise building, where I would trade my soul in exchange for financial security.
