The premise of this book is a man who loves to travel. Something always goes wrong, and he ends up on an island. On the first island he ends up finding a civilization of people 1 / 12 the size of normal humans. After he leaves that island, he ends up on three more masses of land that have a peculiarity about the people.

On Gulliver? s next adventures, he meets extremly large people, primitive people, and people on a flying island. The character I most identified with was Gulliver. Gulliver is a character who is normal and people always misunderstand him. In the island of the little people, Lilliput, they condemn him for death by saving the queen? s life by urinating on her palace.

People blamed him for things he did not do. I identify with him because I am often blamed for things I didn? t do. The character I most dislike was the dwarf in the land of large people, Brobdingnag. The dwarf was almost forty feet tall (everthing in Brobdingnag is twelve times larger), but was constantly angry at Gulliver. The Dwarf was jealous of Gulliver just because Gulliver was accepted into Brobdingnag?

s social and political world. The king of Lilliput reminds me of someone I know. The king was very obnoxious and always pushed the littler people around just to appear strong. One of my? friends? of whose name I won?

t mention, is very similar to the King of Lilliput. He is very obnoxious and loud, and always pushes littler people around so he looks tough. If I could be any character in this book I would be Gulliver. He gets to experience many different adventures that no? normal? person ever got to experience.

Gulliver gets to be an enormous creature, a minuscule person, a genius among primitive beasts, and on a floating island. Allot of the qualities of Gulliver and Glumaditch (Gulliver? s best friend in Brobdingnag) strike me as good qualities to have. Gulliver is an honest person basically never lies or does anything wrong.

He is misunderstood, but never for just cause. Glumaditch is also a very caring person who is always loyal to Gulliver. She was the first to discover Gulliver in Brobdingnag. She always makes sure that Gulliver has enough food, clean clothes, and is generally happy.

After I read this book I felt very satisfied. It was a very interesting story. The only parts of this book that confused me was when they used old English lingo. Since this book was writen in 1699, there were terms that I really could not understand. Besides that I understood the book very well. I don?

t feel there was an opinion expressed by an author throughout the book. The book was a fantasy about a man going to many different islands with strange characteristics about the people. So, I really don? t think there was any sort of opinion expressed.

I think the title of the book was appropriate. ? Gulliver? s Travels? is the name of the book. In the book Gulliver travels to many different islands and areas of the world. So, therefore, the title is appropriate.

I would not change the ending of this book in any way. The book ends in a satisfying way. Gulliver ends up in a good situation by the end of the story. I think the author is a very imaginative person. Not many people would have been able to come up with all of the different places Gulliver traveled to.

I would not be able to tell you about the authors morals or values are like, because the book had no material concerning any ethical topics. I do share some feelings of the characters in the book. Glumaditch, Gulliver? s nurse, felt that Gulliver should be treated as a real human, and not as a freak of nature. I also thought Gulliver should have been treated as a real human.

I would like to read something else by this author. This book was very interesting and I enjoyed reading this book. I enjoyed reading this book because it had the unrealistic elements in it such as Gulliver being extremely little or extremely large.
