In a July, she ordered the service to stop all access to protected material. Yesterday, a three-judge panel of the U. S. Court of Appeals said that Patel was fundamentally correct but that her decision. The judges said Napster could continue to operate until Patel revised her injunction.
Legal experts said her revision could come within days. Napster officials said they would seek a hearing before the entire appeals court in San Francisco, and then before the U. S. Supreme Court, if necessary.
