To fully know ones self and to be able to completely understand and interpret all actions and experiences one goes through is difficult enough. However, analyzing and interpreting the thoughts and feelings of another human being is in itself on an entirely different level. In the novel Jane Eyre, its namesake makes a decision to reject her one true love in favor of moral decency. Certain aspects of the novel discredit the validity of Janes choice.
