Why is it that people, who are treated with contempt, who get hurt, are the ones who least deserve it? Why is this happening? Is the world that cruel? Doesn't anyone know the meaning of life? Funny how people can search for books with no relation to life, for example Star Wars, Harry Potter, but ignore books hat give us meaning in life, that shows us how to treasure life. How ironic.
We search for material needs but fail to treasure what we already have, Our lives, Our happiness, friends, family, lovers, hope, faith. I cannot express the anger i have within me. People ignore these priceless possessions and when they " ve lost it, they regret and try to find ways and means to retrieve it. But, what i don't understand is, why bother regretting when all is said and done? To find a new purpose in life, since they " ve lost everything else? There are so many people in this world who are homeless, hungry, with no one to turn to, yet they are satisfied with what they have.
There are people who suffer from being traumatized by their past, who are being tortured, physically and mentally, who suffer from rape, depression, from being molested, who are dying, but they suffer in silence, while we complain about being broke, about breaking up, about being deprived of freedom by our parents or family members. Everyone has felt how it is to be a failure. Everyone wants to succeed in whatever they do. When one falls, stand up and carry on with life! Is it that difficult? Do they have to make a big fuss out of every situation in which they cannot succeed?
There are so many people in this world who cannot afford to fail; a child who has to live on his own without anyone's guidance, can he fail at anything? His failure could mean his death. The truth of life hurts us, it makes us want to turn around and forget that we know the truth. My heart breaks for these people.
When asked about how we feel about the least in society, we say we want to help them, but how are we helping? By staring at the television screen and saying, "Oh my goodness! They " re such poor things! Awwww w. "? Like that is going to help them. These hypocrites sit in front of the television, watching the news and exclaiming that these "poor things" deserve better, and the very next moment, they couldn't care less about these "poor things." What the hell!
If everyone does that, who is going to make their lives better? The cats and dogs on the street? Will people start thinking about their fellow humans on earth, instead of their own lives? But how can they think about others if they can't even take care of themselves? Smoking, drinking, fucking random people, taking drugs. What are these for?
To kill ourselves so that the world would be human-less? They can't even respect their own flesh and blood. Murder, rape, molest, mutilation. Isn't life ironic? We want to help others, but we cannot even help ourselves. We can't even live in peace within our own countries, our own region, so how are we supposed to take care of others throughout the world?
Now even teenagers are becoming terrorists. In the future, what will we have? Little children who haven't even started school, throwing bombs as if these are toys? I cannot just sit here and watch people ruin their lives. What happened to the meaning of life? What happened to the respect given to life?
Is life such a disgrace? Must we disfigure our lives by killing ourselves bit by bit? But no one will listen to a mere 16 -year-old's rambling. They think i haven't experienced any hardships. It's a shame that although teens are the ones who are more sensible about topics like this, adults just dismiss us with a wave of their hands.
A wave! No speeches, no arguments, no explanations! Just a wave, and they say they " re doing the best they can. Even the little girl on the street can do the same. They " re governing the whole damn world and they " re doing stuff of the same standard as a little girl? ! What is the world coming to?
We should just hire little boys and girls to govern the world. It " ll still be ruined anyway, but at least we'd have fun, with little children's thinking. The whole world would be far from hypocrisy.
