Finally alon the Liberty highway to st lo adn ont he the D-Day landing beaches. we continue to our hotel in caen. Day 12: caen and paris. this morning we visit the bayeux tapestry museum with its scenes of the battle of hastings in the preserved 900 year old embroidery.
On to Paris we stop at giverny to visit the house and gardens of claude monet inspiration for his water lilly paintings. Day 13: Paris sightseeing. Views of the eiffel tower the champs elysees the louvre museum and a guided tour of Notre dame cathedral head this mornings sightseeing tour. The rest of the day you can do whatever you want to do. Day 14: Paris and back to the U. S.
