Education Education is to instruct mentally and morally. In the novel? To Kill A Mockingbird? by Harper Lee education is one of the problems that one of the characters encounters.
Education is a very important part of societies now and when the novel takes place. Education for Scout was hard because Calpurnia had taught Scout how to read and hand write. Scouts teacher did not think that a child in there first year of school should be so talented. On Scouts first day of school the teacher did not seem to like her much. Miss Caroline, Scouts teacher, told her to tell Atticus not to teach her any more since it would interfere with her teaching. Scout is too creative for this type of education and is board.
It is wrong for the teacher not to motivate Scout and tell her that it is good that she worked at home. Teachers now encourage children a great deal to do work at home. Education for whites was different than the Education that Calpurnia and all other blacks received. All white children had a chance to go to school even if they did not have any money much like the Cunningham's. Blacks had little if any opportunity for schooling most blacks where illiterate. Calpurnia did not go to school but learned to read and write from Miss Made Atkinson?
s aunt, Miss Buford. In this day and age white and black people get the chance to go to school. Black people and white people have came along way; Society has came a long way also by excepting not only black people but also all different religions also for who they are. Education is the most valuable of skills and very important part of jobs.
