Political science In America there are some of the things that have made it unique in the history of the world. One of them is the Bill of Rights. The Bill is considered to be the noblest document ever written. It defines the limits that government should obey. Several concepts, such as of free speech, absolute privacy, and religious freedom, became a face of America, its tradition. The Bill may be regarded as an implementation of the ideas, pointed in the Declaration of Independence.
Even being the essential nature of the American system of government and society, it may be of more practical value to the American system of government. The Bill of Rights was ratified in 1791. When the first Constitution was written, it was supposed that amendments to it would be able to be changed sometimes. It was not easy to make amendments, and change the Constitution. From 9. 000 amendments only 27 have been adopted. But the Constitution would not be approved until it included a bill of rights.
It listed the individual rights of every citizen. 12 amendments were written by James Madison, and only 10 were approved. I do not think so. Because you should have some experience to shoot, to shoot a man! A mankind has a sad experience. In after war period a lot of people were shot because of accidents. Frankly speaking, I know the only laws which need not be revised. These are Gods laws.
The others need be examined in accordance with up to date norms. I am certain that in 18 th century the society was on the lower stage of its development. So, a gun was a necessary thing. It was a time of wars, a time of territory division.
A lot of men went to war. But for last decades a mankind became more progressive. It has thought to decide its problems by peace way. As to the second part of the low, international arm control, I think there is something to think at. I think that such a supper nation like the USA should have strong army and weapons. It is really balanced a situation in the world, it prevents from a global tyranny.
In this case I have to agree that Americans should be both spiritually and physically armed. But not for attack, for defense.
