The chart given enlightens a great lot of social problems which are very vital nowadays. First of all, it is the role of the economic class. This role is clearly seen from this chart. In this case the representatives of Ford Motor Company are the users of the economic class, tends to make any business profitable. That is they want to get as much interest as possible spending as little efforts as possible. So, the role of the economic class is the role of cheap work forces which substituted more expensive one in addition.
From the chart it is understood that there certainly was a reason for the company to lay off the workers in Lima, Ohio. The fact that they did so is evidence that they did have a good alternative variant which will take less and give more. As we move through the chart we see that they started a new business in Brazil they start erecting new plants and therefore hiring new workers there. As we compare the two given variants we see that Ford Motor Company had to pay the workers in both cases. If they decided to make a change it means that the workers who live in Tanbete, Brazil are more convenient for them than those in Lima. Having thought a little, we come to a conclusion that Brazilian work forces are cheaper.
Actually, there is no reason for workers from Brazil to demand less money than those in Lima. This fact leads us to a conclusion that there has to be an outer factor to make the company decide that Brazilian workers need to be paid less money. As we move further along the chart we come across a fact that strikes and unions were banned in Brazil. This means that Brazilian workers have actually no possibility to protect their rights. And this means that employers have freedom to impose anything they want on their workers and will not be punished or oppressed. This opens a wide range of possibilities to companies which always want to be a success.
In addition, this fascism and nationalism is totally opposed to democracy. Police forces in Brazil are on the side of fascism that is they are ready to immediately cope with any strike or demonstration the workers would try to organize. Ford Motor Company decided to use this fact to make their business by means of forcing workers to work for 1. 5 dollars per hour. All these things mean that nationalism leads only to exploitation of Brazilian workers. This means that the role of nationalism is in fact the role of evil, or of a man digging a grave to himself. They sale the work force they could use in their own interest to support the national producer.
But here we come to a question: why didnt any other company use this opportunity, which is a really profitable business? We get to know from the chart the Brazilian police who support fascism were trained in covert CIA program at Michigan State University and at that we get to know that the President of Michigan State University sits on Board of Directors of Ford Motor Company. From this we can draw a conclusion that the President was certainly aware of the education of Brazilian police as well as of the situation with workers. This means that he was one of very few people who could know about how the situation will take a turn. Naturally, the Director of Ford Motor Company has a higher education and therefore knows what he is doing.
That is he knows how when and where to make money. Following this it is easy to come to the point that higher education played a very important role in this mans career and in the success of his business. But its not just the fact of education itself but the fact of where he got his education. Perhaps, if he had no connection with Michigan State University the Company would not lay off the workers in Lima and the situation would not be so strikingly thought over.
In this respect we cant help mentioning the education of the police. In fact, the Director of Ford Motor Company educated these people and he knows for sure what they were taught to do and what they will do if the situation goes not the way he would like it to. Judging from this we can surely say that higher education played two contra dictionary roles the role of a builder and the role of the destructor. Here, it helped to build a successful business but on the other hand it ruined the lives of many people who are forced to tighten their belts to satisfy the needs of their bosses. So, higher education here is the most disputable issue and it is very difficult to decide whether it is a blessing or a curse.
