The New Principal In the given paper I would like to define, what policies and procedures I would follow to ensure that the rights and entitlements of teachers and pupils are respected and protected in my own school. My aim is to provide such principals so that both teachers and pupils are satisfied and comfortable. The basic principles of my school would be: to create interesting environment which would induce pupils to learn more; to work out a unique style of teaching, helping children and teenagers not only to learn the material on this or that subject but also to develop their personalities and realize their goals; to get to know as much as possible about needs of pupils and teachers and to induce them to take care about each other; to make school an attractive place to work in for teachers by creating special motives so they may find their work interesting and satisfying; to supervise the school effectively in order to reach the aims stated above. All school members would have the following rights: to be effectively protected from fear of mobbing and other kinds of abusing; to be treated with politeness, complaisance and civility; to be always listened to and treated seriously; to work in a calm environment. All school members would have the following responsibilities: to treat each other with politeness, complaisance and civility; to listen each other with concern; not to trick others; to help to provide a pleasant calm environment; to guaranty that no mobbing incident is disregarded. After class that pupil should have a possibility to discuss the problem with that or another teacher); to fulfill the assignments and to bring them on time (if a pupil meet some difficulties connected with the task implementation, he or she must discuss them with the teacher beforehand); to take care about the calm atmosphere set in school. It is very difficult to make young people behave properly.
So I think that it would be essential to create motives of the good behavior. I would offer the following: Awards Teachers and other workers should be bounty with praising of it is deserved, this approval should be fixed in pupils copybook and / or diary. Pupils's unless must be announced before the whole school. Pupils' achievement should be demonstrated in the best possible way. The form-master and coordinators have equal rights to record the pupils study achievements or excellent behavior. Moreover, praising and inducement should be proposed very often. 2.

Special documents would contain the data about the achievements and behavior of each student to insure that this will not be forgotten and ignored in the future. 3. Class Rules Special rules would be hanging on the wall in each classroom to remind the pupils about the appropriate behavior. They would contain the following: 1 Come to classes on time and with all necessary literature and equipment 2 Be silent and listen carefully when the teacher is explaining the material 3 Dont prevent other pupils from work 4 Don't leave a room without teachers permission 5 Respect other pupils 4. Yard and building rules There would be also special rules for pupils to remind them about the proper behavior in the school yard and inside of the building: 1 Dont run and scream only walk and talk 2.
Leave the school at the end of the classes dont stay longer than it is necessary 3 Park the car according to the staff rules Methods of fighting with bad behavior should be widely used around the school and followed not only by pupils but especially by teachers so that pupils may see good example. Of course there are some cases when teachers are not fair to pupils. The teacher may ask the pupil to leave the class, but only at the presence of another teacher, the director or other worker of school who could later confirm, that rights were not broken. However teachers have no right to shout at pupils and to humiliate them before their friends. The violator would loose his job.
Pupils also have no right to use the underground words. If that happens, the disturber would have to invite his parents to school. If it happens again, he would have to leave the school forever. All the violences would be fixed in the special document.
Parents would also take part in providing the good behavior. The special meetings for parents will be held twice during each semester so that they may know everything about their child, his behavior and achievements. These are the principal rules I would use for my own school. If I were the director I would do my best to provide the calm pleasant atmosphere in school for both teachers and students. I am sure that the most important is to create such conditions, so that people may enter the school in the morning with smile on their faces.
