... unique system of healing and renewing of humans organism. This is a very educated man who has a degree of doctor of psychology, pedagogics, philosophy and medicine. This man combined the teachings of East, with the teaching of Sufis and the modern understanding of life. The main three postulates of his methods are that: Man is not a collection of organs (healthy and not really healthy ones), he is a whole, united system, in which the physical components are interconnected with other components, like emotions, psychological state, spiritual state and the intellectual level. Any medical drugs, as well as surgical interference, extra sensorial methods, coding, hypnosis are humanitarian help from outside, the implying of an alien program from the outside.

Self recovery and self regulation are undivided characteristics of the human organism. All of the methods for healing that Norbekov describes in his books include meditation (as a primary source of healing power), physical exercise and special kinds of massage. (4) This man has healed thousands, if not millions of people, and he still continues to do so. He has his own school and a medical practice, and helps hundreds of people around the world daily. It turned out so, that Norbekov was able to heal people that the contemporary medicine gave up on.

The next important man in the practice of alternative healing of cancer is Deepak Chopra. Deepak Chopra is a physician whose unhappiness with western medicine led him to search for an alternative. An endocrinologist who is a former Chief of Staff at the New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham, Massachusetts, and who has taught at Tufts and Boston University Medical Schools, Dr. Chopra was introduced to the ancient methods of Indian healing, known as Ayurveda, by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the man who has done more than any other to bring traditional meditation to the West.

Chopra proved an apt student, and has become a master teacher as well. He is the founding president of the American Association of Ayurvedic Medicine, and has written and lectured widely, authoring the bestselling Quantum Healing, as well as Creating Health, Return of the Rishi, Perfect Health, Unconditional Life, and Ageless Body, Timeless Mind. (5) Ayurvedic medicine is an "alternative" medical practice that claims it is the traditional medicine of India. Ayurveda is based on two Sanskrit terms: ayu meaning life and veda meaning knowledge or science. Since the practice is said to be some 5, 000 years old, what it considers to be knowledge or science may not coincide with the most updated information available to Western medicine. In any case, most of the ancient treatments are not recorded and what is called traditional Indian medicine is, for the most part, something developed in the 1980 s by the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (Barrett) who brought Transcendental Meditation to the western world.

Ayurvedic treatments are primarily dietary and herbal. Patients are classified by body types, or prakrit i, which are determined by proportions of the three dishes. The dishes allegedly regulate mind-body harmony. Illness and disease are considered to be a matter of imbalance in the dishes. Treatment is aimed at restoring harmony or balance to the mind-body system. Vat, composed of air and space, allegedly governs all movement in the mind and body and must be kept in good balance.

Too much vat leads to "worries, insomnia, cramps and constipation... Vat controls blood flow, elimination of wastes, breathing and the movement of thoughts across the mind. " Vat also controls the other two principles, Pitta and Kapha. Pitta is said to be composed of fire and water; it allegedly governs "all heat, metabolism and transformation in the mind and body. It controls how we digest food, how we metabolize our sensory perceptions, and how we discriminate between right and wrong. " Pitta must be kept in balance, too. "Too much [Pitta] can lead to anger, criticism, ulcers, rashes and thinning hair. " Kapha consists of earth and water. "Kapha cements the elements in the body, providing the material for physical structure. This dish maintains body resistance... Kapha lubricates the joints; provides moisture to the skin; helps to heal wounds; fills the spaces in the body; gives biological strength, vigor and stability; supports memory retention; gives energy to the heart and lungs and maintains immunity...

Kapha is responsible for emotions of attachment, greed and long-standing envy; it is also expressed in tendencies toward calmness, forgiveness and love. " Too much Kapha leads to lethargy and weight gain, as well as congestion and allergies. (1) Deepak Chopra has based his methods of healing on Ayurveda. He says in his book Quantum Healing: Quantum healing is healing the body mind from a quantum level. That means from a level, which is not manifest at a sensory level. Our bodies ultimately are fields of information, intelligence and energy.

Quantum healing involves a shift in the fields of energy information, so as to bring about a correction in an idea that has gone wrong. So quantum healing involves healing one mode of consciousness, mind, to bring about changes in another mode of consciousness, body. As Deepak Chopra says in his interview, which corresponds to the methods of healing of Mirzakarim Norbekov: Meditation is a very important aspect of all the approaches that one can use in quantum healing, because it allows you to experience your own source. When you experience your own source, you realize that you are not the patterns and eddies of desire and memory that flow and swirl in your consciousness. Although these patterns of desire and memory are the field of your manifestation, you are in fact not these swirling fluctuations of thought.

You are the thinker behind the thought, the observer behind the observation, the flow of attention, the flow of awareness, the unbounded ocean of consciousness. When you have that on the experiential level, you spontaneously realize that you have choices, and that you can exercise these choices, not through some sheer will power but spontaneously. (3) Chopra has pointed out in his books the fact that the chaotic lives of Western people lead them to have cancerous diseases. The pain, agony, hatred, loneliness and alienations are all primary causes of cancer. To stop the epidemic of cancer people have to turn to simple life, using simple food and simple thoughts. Meditation has to be a part of every day, a way to south your wounds that are received from the contact with the outside world. It is also very important just to smile, because a smile sets a right emotional tone, thus making all of organs work in a unified manner, making you feel better and as a result heal you.

To sum up everything said above, the approaches to treating cancer can be divided into three branches: the classical or traditional approach, which is practiced by most of the representatives of official medicine; the alternative methods; and the combined method, which combines both the achievements of modern medicine and the great achievements of the alternative medicine. It is a pity but this method is practiced by few specialist throughout the world. In some countries like the US and UK this method is only starting to be employed in the practice of private hospitals. If you look at the process of evolution of knowledge about cancer belongs to the alternative methods that go back to ancient India, Eastern and Arabic medicine.

These methods are aimed at healing the spirit of the person and by doing so, healing him as a whole, in addition with the use of different healing power of herbs. In comparison to them the traditional methods of healing cancer (which are based on the chemo- and laser therapies, in combination with other means), are still fairly young, because their age is about 110 years, does not even exceed the maximum length of one human life. In other words in cancer study there still does not exist the factor of the check by time, on many generations of people ill with cancer. Alternative medicine on the other hand has very long time traditions. It is a pity that a lot of official medicine institutions treat alternative medicine skeptically, and sometimes have negative approach towards it. This to one point is due to the fact that alternative methods sometimes use poisonous things (like mushrooms, different venoms), although some of these have been scientifically checked and are proven to bring more good than harm.

The other point because of which the alternative methods are not so eagerly adopted is because people do not tend to believe everything that is new to them (Eastern practices are fairly new to the Western world).
