It occurred in 1958. However, the very term 'internet' was coined significantly later. So, one of the first computer networks was created over thirty years ago with the creation of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DAPRA) in 1958. Since its creation, APRANET network simply united several computers in military departments, educational, and scientific and research centers (Bomse, p. 1717).
