War in Iraq (1) Ever since current U. S. administration decided to use force, in order for the Iraq to give up on its weapons of mass distraction in 2003, international community became strongly opposed against it. People throughout the world were raising their concerns about whether it was appropriate to resort to invading an independent country, as the ultimate mean of promoting democratic values, especially on the part of country that officially proclaims its allegiance to the ideals of peace and tolerance. Even such traditional American allies as Germany and France openly proclaimed that invading Iraq is a big mistake, about which Americans are going to regret. It seems that these predictions are now beginning to fulfill.

American troops that now stationed in Iraq do not understand why they need to be there in the first place, while having to sustain heavy casualties on almost everyday basis. Iraqis resurgent's keep improving their guerrilla warfare strategy, which resulted in situation when American soldiers simply cannot leave their heavily fortified military bases without facing a very good chance of being killed. This is happening after American people are being assured that the war objectives in Iraq are being fully accomplished. This is why; there are more and more voices in U.

S. that demand a complete withdrawal of our troops from Iraq. In his article House Passes Iraq Pullout Timetable, Jonathan Weisman quotes Senator Patrick J. Murphy, who makes a perfectly good point by saying: How many more suicide bombs must kill American soldiers before this president offers a timeline for our troops to come home?

How many more military leaders must declare the war will not be won militarily before this president demands that the Iraqis stand up and fight for their country? How many more terrorists will President Bush's foreign policy breed before he focuses a new strategy, a real strategy? (Weisman). It is hard to disagree with the Senator. Our President does not give us a clear reason why sacrifices of American soldiers are necessary. We have not heard a single logical argument in favor of continuing to have American military presence in Iraq. President Bush talks a lot about fight for democracy and making this world a better place to live, but the objective reality does not correspond to his best best intentions.

In fact, invasion of Iraq was based on the wrong premise of this country possessing a stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction. In other words, tens of thousands people being killed and Iraq's economic infrastructure being completely destroyed is simply result of some bureaucratic mistake, for which nobody wants to take responsibility. It never occurred to George Bush that the least he can do, under these circumstances, is to publicly apologize to Americans and to the world. In this paper, we will try to explain why U. S. troops were sent to Iraq and to show that from now on, we cannot talk about American policy being independent of foreign influence, as it should be the case. (2) In his article The war on Iraq: Conceived in Israel, Stephen Sniegoski quotes diplomatic historian Paul W.

Schroeder, who provides us with the insight on the essence of war against Iraq: It would represent something to my knowledge unique in history. It is common for great powers to try to fight wars by proxy, getting smaller powers to fight for their interests. This would be the first instance I know where a great power (in fact, a superpower) would do the fighting as the proxy of a small client state (Sniegoski). What small client state does Schroeder talk about? The answer is obvious Israel.

It is not the secret that Jewish lobby exercises a disproportionate influence in American politics. One does not have to be very smart to realize that American Medias are very biased, when it comes to depicting conflict in Middle East. Israelis are usually described as sophisticated and gentle people, who are trying to root out Arabic terrorism on the occupied Palestinian territories, which they are keeping under their control, despite numerous UN resolutions. On the other hand, Palestinian children who throw rocks at Israeli tanks, while being shot in return, are depicted as bloodthirsty terrorists, who need to be treated like wild animals.

This is because majority of American Medias are owned by the representatives of chosen people. If we keep this in mind, it will become clear why America became involved in war against Iraq, even though it had nothing to win by doing this. The reason is Israel was concerned that Iraq's growing geopolitical influence would threaten its dominance in the region. This is why Iraq needed to be destroyed. Israel never bothers about respecting international laws, when it comes to protecting its safety and intimidating other countries. This little state is thought to posses 200 nuclear warheads, which it will not hesitate to use.

However, for as long as circumstances allow, Israel tries to solve its geopolitical problems with the hands of its main ally United States. Ronald Bleier in his article Invading Iraq: Converging U. S. and Israeli Agendas makes a perfectly good point when he says: Support by the leadership of the Jewish community for war against Iraq represents a culmination of 50 years of U.

S. support for Israel's expansionist and oppressive rule. The passionate attachment to Israel, the dual loyalty felt by many Americans - whereby Israel's interests are put on the same or higher level than U. S. interests - has come back to haunt the United States through the agency of a President willing to adopt the most extravagant dreams of right wing Israelis and pro-Israeli hawks. The result is that the full might of the world's only super power has been dragged into Israels service despite the costs, and the dangers and the folly of such a policy.

Attachment to Israel has come back to haunt America by enabling a decisive shift in U... S. policy away from helping to preserve the peace and security of the world and turning the U. S. into an aggressor nation, just as Israel has been and continues to be (Bleier). Author mentions that such Democratic Senators John Kerry, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Charles Schumer, Barbara Boxer, who now criticize George Bush over his plan to invade Iraq, voted in favor of giving President the authority to begin war in October 2002.

This is because they were well aware of the fact that if they did otherwise, they would be no longer needed by puppeteers behind their backs. Bleire points out to the fact that: Jewish sources reportedly donate 50 % or more of the total receipts to the Democratic Party (Bleire). This is why todays Democratic anti-war stance is nothing but a publicity stunt. They were just as much committed to allow President to begin war against Iraq, as their Republican counterparts, because they are being financed from the same sources. There are many theories as to why George Bush decided to pursue with the war against Iraq, despite the fact that this would be the last thing that could benefit Americans.

Some political observes suggest that George Bush, who is known to have business interests in oil industry, simply wanted to lay hands on Iraq's oil. There are also suggestions that war in Iraq is simply a part of Western civilizations fight against Muslim world. Bible thumper's in America are especially fond of this theory, because it portrays religious nonsense as such that does influence political affairs of civilized countries, while it fact, this is far from the truth. Shahid Alam, in his article Israel's Proxy War? , shows the absurdity of suggestions that U. S. invaded Iraq, in order to enforce Christian values upon Iraqis: If it isnt oil, then, is this civilization al war, a war of the Christian West against Islam?

This conjecture flies in the face of some obvious facts. First, this is Americas war. It is opposed by two key Western allies, France and Germany; and apart from Britain and Israel, the support of other Western countries lacks depth. More to the point, the overwhelming majority of Westerners outside the United States oppose this war (Alam). What is truly remarkable about it, is that nobody seriously believes in the official version of why war against Iraq started in the first place. Sometimes it seems like our President does not respect the intelligence of American citizens, when he talks about war in Iraq, in terms of struggle between good and evil.

We are being told that the reason why American troops needed to be sent to Iraq is that evil Saddam Hussein simply could not stand the sight of American women wearing short skirts, because it is very offensive to Islam. His hatred of Western freedoms made him to try to acquire necessary components for the building the nuclear bomb, which could be dropped on the heads of ignorant Americans. One does not have to be overly sophisticated to understand that such explanation could only be used, while explaining the reasons for war to children in kindergartens. It is understood that Saddam Hussein was a tyrant, but there many tyrants exercising political power in other countries, such as in American best ally Saudi Arabia.

During Chechen war, Russian army was widely using chemical weapons to kill civilians on the wholesale basis. Even today, Chechens in Russia are being officially referred to as people who are terrorists by birth. Yet, George Bush does not think that there is anything wrong in shaking hands with Putin. Why was it namely a Saddam Hussein who needed to be removed from the office? It seems that the reason for this is that Saddam used to continuously threaten Israel. This is why America needed to brought into the war against Israel.

Israelis are known as very skilled political manipulators. American Medias do not mention it very often, but it is a fact that in 1967 Israelis attacked USS Liberty, while trying to present it is as Egyptian attack, in order to make U. S. to declare war on Egypt.

As a result, 35 American sailors were killed. However, Israel never even bothered to come up with apology for what happened. For Israelis, American soldiers are nothing but a cannon meat, which is expandable. Why sustaining heavy casualties with the war against Iraq, when U. S. President can simply convince American citizens that invading Iraq is necessary, so that they would not resist seeing their sons being sent to this country to fight for Israelis interests?

It is better when hundred goyim's die, than one Jew this is what Israeli children are being officially taught in schools. The fact is, American foreign policy does not correspond to American geopolitical interests anymore. U. S. is now like a crab with a parasite inside of its brain, which is often shown on Discovery channel crab continues to look for food and continues to mate, only so that parasites spores can be passed to other healthy crabs. In fact, even though crab seems to act as it should, his brain is being eaten out by parasite, which takes over crabs bodily functions.

On the outside, there seems to be nothing wrong with such crab, but on the inside there is an entirely different picture. America also seems to be an independent country, but only on the outside. If we look closer at American foreign policy, it will appear that our government always chooses in favor of doing things that can hurt America the most. It would be understandable if we had said: we are going to invade Iraq because we need Iraq's oil and the reason that we have a right to do this is because our army is much stronger. As Napoleon once said the God is on the side of larger armies. We would have to occupy Iraq and simply start pumping out its oil, while using the most drastic measures to eradicate the resistance.

We would not be playing in democracy, because the price of this is the lives of American soldiers. American citizens would be able to feel that this war is clearly justified, because the prices for gas would drop, as a result. However, we are witnessing something entirely different. Prices for gas continue to rise. Many American soldiers are being sentenced to time in jail, because they are supposed to act as gentlemen, while being surrounded by people who take pleasure in cutting off hostages heads. Our troops do not understand why government had sent them to Iraq, because their presence there does not benefit Americans at all.

This situation is so abnormal that majority of ordinary citizens begin to realize that there something definitely wrong about how our government is handling Iraq affair. In their article 56 Percent in Survey Say Iraq War Was a Mistake, which was written in 2004, John F. Harris and Christopher Must come up with a statistical data, which shows that American government conducts countrys foreign affairs in the manner that is totally opposite to the will of majority of citizens: While a slight majority believe the Iraq war contributed to the long-term security of the United States, 70 percent of Americans think these gains have come at an "unacceptable" cost in military casualties. This led 56 percent to conclude that, given the cost, the conflict there was "not worth fighting" -- an eight-point increase from when the same question was asked this summer, and the first time a decisive majority of people have reached this conclusion (Harris, Must). The growing unpopularity of Republicans is primarily linked with their support of Iraq war. More citizens begin to realize that in Iraq, America is fighting someone elses war.

The most important principle of democracy is that elected officials are not being put in the office, so that they can decide on what is better for people. They are there to simply fulfill the will of countrys citizens. If they fail to do this, then they need to be removed. The situation when government openly ignores the opinion of majority of citizens is intolerable in democratic country. This is why our troops need to be pulled out of Iraq.

Let Israel do its own dirty work, we do not need to see no more coffins draped with American flags that are being brought from Iraq. It would make much more sense to position American troops along Mexican border, to prevent our country from being flooded with illegal immigrants. Instead, we have them in Iraq, where they cannot act as occupants, while being unable to leave this God forsaken place. It is a time to bring American foreign policy back to sanity, otherwise we are going to be no friendly countries towards U.

S. left in the world. We are going to be stuck with Israel, but it is better to have ten enemies then a friend like Israel, because this country never hesitates to stab America in the back, as it already had happened many times. Our politicians need to be taught of how to put the interests of our country above everything else, instead of acting as agents of foreign influence. Therefore, if we pull out troops out of Iraq, it cannot be referred to as American defeat, because this war was never American to begin with. Our citizens were being intentionally lied to by people like Wolfowits and Rumsfeld, for which they should be held accountable in the court of law.

This will serve as the lesson for those who think that it is appropriate to abuse the trust of Americans, in order to reach private agendas.
