Stunting Growth of the Severely Mentally Disabled Children Introduction While every one can argue and counter argue about every possible thing on the earth and when such an argument is related to a child who is mentally so severely disabled, perhaps the correct thing would be to let the parents or those loving individuals on whom such a child would have to completely be dependent on decide and act accordingly on the childs best interests. It has to be kept in mind that these difficult decisions are never made in a hurry and the future long-term aspects for the welfare and upkeep of such children are deliberated because any conclusive action is taken. The issues related to morality, religion, convention methods of viewing lives are very easy to argue over for the sake of making a point. If perhaps the people who advocate against the principles and practice of stunting the growth of severely disabled mental children for whom medically it has been confirmed that they would live permanently as a retarded person; should be asked to take full time care of such a child for a maximum two or three day period.
