Understanding Issues in Organizational Behavior (1) As the practice shows, the application of non-monetary incentives for workers is very important. Stress relievers, such as gym, cuts down on health costs and makes employees more productive and happier, which will have a direct impact on increasing companys efficiency. Also, providing medical or dental plans to the workers will cause them to strongly associate their future with this particular company. Workers need to feel that organization or company really cares about their well-being. A corporate culture comes as very powerful tool, in this respect. In return for workers loyalty and commitment, company has to guarantee them an employment, for as long as theyre willing to learn how to be more productive. (2) Every successful commercial enterprise needs to have its workers highly motivated, if it is to remain competitive.
One of the most effective ways to accomplish it, is providing career opportunities to the employees. Not that it only guarantees the reduction of employees turnover rate, but it also makes the personnel members more productive, without having to apply an administrative methods to accomplish this. Also, it is important to understand that the best motivational factor for the workers, stil remains a good salary. (3) The diversity at workplace is just another artificial term, which has no real meaning. The diversity certainly does not increase workers' productiveness quite opposite, it makes them to be preoccupied with their secular agendas and also prevents them from functioning effectively, as a team.
The workplace is not where diversity is celebrated, but where people earn money to make living.
