In Germany during WWII many things were going on in the economy, the social problems and with the politics. Germany was unstable and wanted to explode upon the world. Most of the people that were German citizens were very against the jews. Probably due to all the propaganda. Also during the war the armies caused food shortages because an army runs on its stomach. Hitler made many discriminative law / bills against the Jewish people.
World War II was a time when many things were going on in Germany with everyone and everything. The economy of the Germans was not really even worth the paper it was printed on. (ck) The currency at the last few months of the war was almost one million of there marks to our American dollar. (ck) Hyper inflation raged during 1922 and 1923 which and the world economic depression which broke towards the end of 1929... Every night everyone was supposed to get one egg and 10 lbs of potatoes. (gill 5) The bread was mad of turnips and the meat was mostly bone and fat. The sugar was usually saccharine. Angry mobs formed when someone was expressing their opinions. People had one way minds and it was their way or no way which created big problems. (Large) Most people in Germany really had no problem with was being done to the Jewish people they only cared about themselves.
If one million jews were killed some would rejoice others would just say oh well. They only had no care because the propaganda that Hitler had made everyone hate the jews. The political system in Germany had Hitler at the head as dictator. Hitler came to power on January 30, 1933. The Centre party seized power while the Reichstag were dissolved. (Manvell 115) The Nazi party emerged and the promise of the Nazi party would change the world. (Large 124) Journalists claimed the leader of the newly formed Nazi part was Adolf Hitler. (Large 124) Propaganda during this time was designed for two reasons to make the people hate the jews. And for them to join in the fight against the allies.
All propaganda was controlled entirely by Hitler himself. (Taylor 65) This would ensure that he got his messages across perfectly. Hitler made many new laws, many gave away his power to his inferiors. Hitler passed a law that gives everyone who is a Reich commissioner the legal right to act as a local dictator. (Manvell 148) On November 9, 1938 Hitler gives the order to burn Jewish property and synagogues in Poland. (Gill) Adolf's power was really supreme because he needed no approval for what he wanted to do. He had advisors but they only advised didnt tell him to do anything. The political system in Germany was set up so everything would run smoothly in theory.
