I was sitting hunched, waiting. I was watching for the other team coming down the driveway. I saw them. Dylan and Kyle went off to the right. Mike W. was hiding farther up the road.

They found him and took him out. Then I saw Dexter coming up behind us. Justin and Jimmers saw us. I stood up and exchanged fire. Oh crap, Justin's on fully auto, Charlie said. I heard splat after splat.

Aaron came up behind us. I told him to watch out because Dexter was back out there. There was so much scrub brush you couldnt even shoot back there. I told Seth to see if he could get at Dexter.

So he left into the brush. Then I saw Dylan and Kyle run across the road to our side. I then knew Mike D. was out because he was hiding where they came from. I gave some shots toward them but didnt connect. Seth came back and said he couldnt even get close.

Then Aaron came walking out of the brush with his hands up. Im out, he said. O man now were two men down, I said. At this time Justin and Jimmers are watching us.

Once in awhile they would give us a Hey were still here shot but we knew they hadnt moved. Then Justin put his hands up. Im out of paint, Im done, dont shoot, he said with disappointment. Then I saw Charlie preparing for something. I could see this strange look in his eye through the glazed lenses in his face mask.

He then said, Troy, cover me, Im taking him out! Ok, do it Charlie, I replied. He jumped to his feet and started firing. Doosch, dobsch, dobsch! Aww Im hit, stop firing Im hit, Im hit, were the words from Jimmers mouth. Ya, way to go Charlie-o-marly!

I said to Charlie. Then at that moment, splat, splat, splat, one after another! We were scrambling around like decapitated chickens! Where are they coming from! ? Seth yelled. Just run, Charlie screamed.

Go, go, Seth some on! I said as I was pushing Charlie to hurry. Charlie jumped out the front of the trailer and took off running. I hurdled the front of that trailer like a member of the hurdling team.

I ran as fast as possible to stay with Charlie. I didnt want to seperate from him. Two heads are better than one, thats my modo. Charlie barricaded through the tree branches like a locomotive at full steam.

I followed in the same intense manner. As I did so I turned and looked back for Seth. He was not back there. Where did he go? I searched around. It felt like my head was spinning, rotating around on my neck.

Then I saw him to the left of me. He was also entering the trees in a very quick manner. I saw Charlie go back behind a tree. I didnt go that far.

I just stopped behind the closest tree I could find. Now facing the rode Seth was hiding behind an oak tree to the right of me. Now our opponents were searching for our exact locations but we were hiding behind the trees very well. I told Charlie we should move up into the pine trees and lay down. To our convenience there was a naturally made but. So we made our move.

I ran, then slid head first into the mossy damp ground. Charlie slid in right next to me. Seth stayed back. I could see Dexter and Kyle. They were across the road behind their own natural bunker of dirt. They didnt know of my where abouts.

I told Charlie to move down to see if he could get a shot. I fired at Dexter. Doosch, dobsch, no hit though. I fired again, I got you Dex!

I yelled. Ha, ha, it didnt brake, he replied. Now they knew of my position. I was laying on my stomach behind a little pile of dirt only about a foot tall.

Now I was bombarded with shots. One after another, winning by my head, dirt flying as there paintballs crashed into the ground in front and beside me. All I was thinking was I had to shoot them or be shot. Or get the heck out of there. But as you can tell I wasnt going anywhere any time soon, when balls are flying by my head.

I looked over to my left for Charlie. He was supposed to be helping me out. And if he was, he was taking way to long to find a desert shot. He should have taken of them out by now.

All of a sudden Kyle came running and firing across the road. I fired back. Chopping balls and shooting splatter. I cant believe I havent hit him. He landed forward into the side of a tree not stalling a second on his trigger. I can say the same for me.

Arms extended toward each other shooting as fast as our fingers would move on our triggers. We were only about 10 feet apart. I shot so much splatter his goggles were pasted orange. Uhh, Im out, Im out, stop!

he screamed. I didnt even have time to think of how reserved and happy I should have been to survive that bombardment of shots. All my focus was back on Dexter. He too ran with Kyle toward me he was only in the middle of the road though. He was firing at me all this time too.

I aimed and started firing. To my surprise I fired a ball without braking it. Im hit, you got me, he said. I then thought, where is every one? Who is left, I called to Dex. Dylan, he replied.

Oh crap I thought, I was also thinking Charlie was still out there. I was searching for Dylan. I knew he was to my left or south. Charlie was supposed to be to my right or North.

I had no idea where he went. Charlie, where are you man? I yelled. Hes out, he ran out of paint, Seth yelled from the road. Seth was on the road, Oh no.

Im alone, I thought. Its you and Dylan, Seth explained. I started running to some oak trees and heard shots and the balls breaking on brush next to me. It was Dylan. I looked left and saw him as I sprinted to an oak tree big enough to hide behind.

I got behind the tree, turned and fired back. I shot shells and splatter because I had so much paint in my barrel. Then I got some good shots off. Now Dylan was behind a tree about 30 feet away. We exchanged shots, but every time I even so much as peeped out balls would hit the tree or wiz by my head. His time spent in paintball tournaments and his $ 800 in his gun was now paying off.

I just stuck my gun out and shot toward his area. All you could see of him was his barrel and one eye peeping out. My adrenaline was going crazy. I looked down to check to see how many balls I had left in my hopper. Then looked back, Dylan was no longer behind the tree. I looked farther out, he was running toward me.

I shot twice, then he shot twice. Doosch, dobsch, uh it hit my gun, my trigger wouldnt move, oh no! He shot two more times and hit my hand. Youre out, he said.

Ya, Im gone, I said kinda disappointed. He had hit my safety so I couldnt shoot. We have each other a high five and said good game. I was still shaking!

Then we walked back to the house where every on was waiting. We told them what happened and the guys were surprised with my performance being this was my second time playing. Man, what a rush!
