In college sports today it is more than about education it is about big dollars being spent. It seems like every time that a school is doing well some nosey reporter has to get in their business, and it is never about the good the player does it is always about the mistakes they make. There is nothing wrong with the player getting paid for doing a good job on the field. Dont you think they have bills to pay too! How can they work if they are playing football, basketball, baseball, or other sports that are offer in school?

So don t you think a little compensation is due? First there is the price of an education for a player. In Peter Warricks case at Florida State it will cost him $ 7, 847 per term. But an education is priceless, right? That is a lot of money but not as half as much as he will bring to the school when he suits up every Saturday to play ball.

Every player in college football has bills may it be school loans or any other expenses while in school. If the school team is doing well the school could see millions each season. So dont you think that the players should not have to worry about cost of education, but it is not that way? I could see no better way to spend the money than to pay for each player expends while on the team. Next there are players that are receiving money from people. There is nothing wrong with that.

The reason people give them money is because they see what a good job they are doing on the field and the money they are bring the school. When I was playing high school football it was not a big deal when receiving money from the school boaster club for playing well. So I figured if they did well I should do well to! That is the way it should be. If a person wants to give a player some money so be it but dont you think the school should give them some too.

You always hear about these big companies giving these school lots of money to either wear their clothes on the field or doing something else. Do you hear the school complaining or telling them to stop doing that, no they are always begging for more. So how can they tell the students that are responsible for these big companies giving them money not to take money from people? Dont you think there is a little something wrong with that? It is okay for them to do it but it is not okay for the players to do it. You think when Peter Warrick, and Laveranues Coles went in to Dillards they thought it was going to be a big deal to receive a little bit of clothes from a store clerk at her expense?

If they knew what they know now they problem would not have do it. Some reporter heard about it and more than likely said if I have to pay for my clothes why shouldnt they have to pay for theirs. Well it is none of their business. Now these students are in trouble with the law, school and with NCAA. It is not like they robbed a bank or something.

They were just receiving a gift just like you do on Christmas or on your Birthday. If someone offered me something like that I problem would have taken it too, but me being a regular student they would not have may a big deal about it. Reports see people that are doing well and try to find dirt on them. Just leaven them alone and stop being jealous. These games they go to on the road dont you think the costs add up?

Eating, calling home, and other things they need. So why not let them receive money from people, you think they will complain? Last were does the money go? These big colleges make millions each year and the cost for school keeps going up. Why is that? The money should help bring the cost for school down for the players and other students.

Every time a football team from a college goes to a bowl game, wins a title or has a good season they receives lots of money. That is not including the money they make off of the tickets. So maybe if the schools would stop being so greece the players and other students would stop doing thing like accepting money from people or gifts. The way I see it they are just trying to control ever little thing the players do in any sport. Next they are going to be telling them when they can call home.

Now that is a bunch of bull! In closing next time you here about a player in college receiving money from some body for doing well think about when you were little getting money for doing good on your spelling test. Didnt that make you want to do good all the time? So what is the difference? A school cans receive money from big companies for being at the top of their game so why cant the student do the same? What good for the goose is good for the hen so to speak doesnt you think?

So maybe you now see it my way and realize that money is not a bad thing to have and better when someone else is giving it to you.
