I looked across the road while walking one day and noticed two squirrels in a love quarrel, well granted it was mating season but the way they fought off each other caught my attention. The two minute creatures gently battled and showed each other a glimpse of victory. Intrigued by the scene I found myself becoming one with these creatures but at the sight of me the squirrels darted away like most wild creatures do. As I continued my walk down the street the strangest feeling fell over me.

It was a feeling of Deja vu. Out of this brownish door surrounded by a white house came two things. My vision was blurred but I saw everything clearly. The Deja vu made me see the squirrels again, but in a human form.

The humans scurried around with each other to pick up the newspaper. There actions mimicked those of the squirrels. The moment they looked up and saw me the two things ran back inside and vanished. The moment slipped away but the idea still lingered around in my mind like a cloud over head not letting you actually see that beautiful moon. That incident brought out an understanding of what I had always been taught and what I realize through life itself. Everyone acknowledges Human Kind and the Animal Kingdom as two totally separate groups.

See, everyone on earth has some form of communication. Some people speak English, French, Spanish and many other languages. The whole key is to understand those languages and being able to decipher what they mean. With that in mind let us think about the many animals that live on this earth with us. These animals clearly have some form of communication or they would not have been given the ability to make sound.

Also, through watching them closely you see that they use this communication in the same respect that humans do. Their ability to make these noises gives them a communication device to scold a child, find a mate, call for help, and show appreciation with their own kind. Now we do not know if other animals can determine other animals sounds of communication. We do know however that they can not communicate with us and we are of a different species.

When we came to the Americas we did not understand the native languages. We saw these people as savages and beast of nature. What do you think they thought we were? We came in off the ocean with guns and swords, clothes that were made with dyes. But we called them Savages. Once we staked out our new stomping ground we found the wildlife to be very frightening.

The idea of struggle for survival became evident in that first winter. Struggle for survival is a term used in the wildlife's way of life. Every day is a constant struggle with the elements. They try hard to overcome every little obstacle that stands in their way. With every victory it brings them closer to the top, but of what.

What are they trying to get to the top of, the food chain, better home, better area, better wealth, and better living? Do these goals every cross any humans thoughts? I hope by this point you are beginning to think a little more about your goals in life. Most cases, all people want those same goals. Area is also an idea shared by many species. Our area that we as humans are in contact with most often tends to become comfortable.

We stay in that one area because it has a feeling of security and well being. No matter how you try to overcome this fear or boundary, you find yourself back to the place of comfort. Many people believe that this is a trait that is in every Human. What about wildlife? According to experts, wildlife tends to do the same. They stay in areas that are known to them and put up boundaries by marking their personal territory.

The markings provide a sense of where the creature is at and it acts as a defense mechanism to warn off enemies. Warding off enemies is another instinctive response from mothers and fathers of animals. The parent may sense some danger around a corner and come to a complete halt and change directions. The whole idea of this instinct is to protect their children and continue repopulating society.

The same instinct is found in almost every human parent. At the thought of an accident the parent can sense something terribly wrong. Also there have been reports that certain parents could lift and entire car off their injured child. Pets owned by the family have been known to rescue children in distress that they have grown up around. Animals and Humans also are driven by sex. Sexual pleasure is sought out by animals in about the same way as humans.

Both species try to flaunt one another's good points and dismiss the flaws. First impressions are also a factor in the sexual drive. For instance, a male peacock will try to flaunt its tail colors to the female in a ritualistic dance. If the female deems him worthy then they will begin foreplay (like that of the Squirrels earlier).

Humans are found in the same situation as the peacock. The male human must first impress the female to even get a chance for the female to deems him worthy. Another thing about sex is that both the animal and human stay within their own species. Straying from your own species is not natural to humans or any other creature. Of course there are a few cases like the horse and the donkey, but as you can see their offspring can never reproduce because the mule is sterile. Our ideas of the Human species being elite over all other animal species could be wrong.

What if we were not made different from the animals as it says in Genesis of the Bible? What if we are just another species of the Animal Kingdom? Could this prove that we are no better than wildlife? Do our morals change?

Many of these questions can now be asked due to the idea that Humans are animals. Bibliography:
