According to Robert Keels article The Mcdonaldization of Society, in the December 1989 issue of Psychology Today, it already has. Ever since McDonalds sound to existance in the middle of the 20 th century, it has grown immensely to approx 12, 000 outlets world-wide. Developing into a necessity for people, McDonalds has been a typical chain-store on nearly every major intersection.
