Many people in the world have their own ideas of how they want their, perfect family to be. This opinion varies just as much as the personalities and views of people from this world do. Very rarely people agree with each other on what is the perfect family. Individuals own views on politics, philosophy, upbringing and proper morals and culture all play a part in our view of the model family.
When I graduate college, get secure financially and find the right person, I want a family just like most other people do. To me, my happiness in my family will be based upon, first and foremost, my wife. She must possess all the values and views that would make our individual personalities not only compliment each other, but improve each other as people. Love, respect, loyalty and caring all will be important portions of any potential future relationship that I feel has the capability to blossom into marriage.
I know that my children shall be immensely influenced by the relationship between me and my wife. Not only will my children be affected by this, but my future financial status, happiness and lifestyle will all be influenced by my relationship with my wife. One thing is certain to me, I will not marry anyone who I feel I have the slightest chance to divorce. Therefore, the biggest influence in my life and the lives of others we bring into this world will be greatly affected by my wife. The second most important part of my future family will be my children. I hope to have two or three children when I decide to have kids.
I would like at least one boy and at least one girl. I want my son to be his own person, but I will infuse into him the knowledge of life I have gained in my years. I hope to have a secure and well-paying job so that my wife may be able to spend several vital years at home to nurture the children. I do not want my children being raised by baby sitters and day care centers. I also want a job close to home and one which does not require travel. Therefore a job in the education field is appealing. Through this job I wish to have a nice house and material things which shall make my life happy and content.
I wish to take vacations with my wife and kids and to be able to secure a financial future for my children and their education. My own values and my own views on what perfect is are just two of the influences on my decision on what a perfect family is. In reality, I know that financial problems, possible conflicts with people in my life and my own mistakes may make me falter in my actions to secure for me, this perfect family. Overall, I hope to have, in my own eyes and according to my own values, what is to me, a traditional American family.
