Environmental Science - Human Population It is a truth that many people, in developing countries, starve on daily basis, while being unable to break the vicious circle of poverty. But it just never occurs to the whining liberals, in our government, who come up with different plans of how to provide these people with food, that the constant starvation and high children's mortality in Africa, for example, is absolutely normal, in the view of native people. For whatever the Africans lack in quality, they compensate in cheer numbers. The population of Ethiopia has tripled, within the last 20 years of never ending famine and social unrest. The people's average age in this country is 30, while Western countries are going to turn into the expensive hospices, with no people younger than 60, in the matter of next 50 years, because of declining birth rate. It has to be said that the well being of people, in developing countries, has the least to do with the land distribution.
In 1975 in Zimbabwe, the 90 % of the agricultural land belonged to the White farmers, yet the standard of living, among native people, was much higher than it is now, after these farmers were being driven out of their farms and often killed by the Mugabe's militia. The truth is simple once the Whites loose the political power in Third World countries, it is only the matter of time, before these countries will sink into the savagery of the worst kind, like it happened in Haiti, South-Africa, Zimbabwe and Mali. Subconsciously, the native people are aware of this fact and they rightly decide to simply move to the developed countries, where they can apply for welfare, upon the arrival, without bothering to even learn English. Things like contributing to the society or even the notion of social responsibilities simply do not exist in these people's vocabulary. Therefore, there is absolutely no doubt that the only way for the people from developing countries to make their lives better, is to immigrate to the countries, where governments simply hand out free food, housing and money to the social parasites, in the ultimate attempt to promote the diversity. Why bother with trying to grow crop, which can be sold for 50 dollars, when in America the average monthly welfare rate is 500 $?
One does not have to work on the farm, in order to get it. All it takes, it simply being here. The truth is, our planet is already overpopulated, as it is. There is simply not enough room under the sun for all. There is only so much land that can be used for agriculture, and yet, people in Africa and Asia seem to have adopted an insect rates of propagation.
It is very common in Africa to have 20 - 30 children in the family. How can such measures as combining or subdividing farms or opening new lands (when there none left) can help the situation? Also, as an Americans, we are ignorant enough to think that, once the people in the Third World countries have enough food not to starve, they should be happy. But they also want nice cars, night clubs, they want to wear an expensive clothing. They want to have a programmed fridges and air conditioning, like we do.
But they know that they will never have it, unless they move here, legally or illegally. In America they have a chance of acquiring everything, in their lifetime. So, of course, these people will laugh in your face, once you suggest to them that maybe they should consider a more rational way to distribute land, in their own countries. The whole suggestion of people in GFC (God Forsaken Countries) being able to improve their living standards, by making their agriculture more efficient, is outright idiotic. How the common people are going to redistribute land?
By starting a revolution? Or by simply killing an official land owners, who might become a bit sceptical about the whole idea, like they did in Zimbabwe? The practice shows that it did not help them a lot. Because nothing will grow on the land, unless it is tended. But nobody wants to do this, it is much easier to simply rob a bank or to emigrate to America. The public campaign to stop the hunger in Africa has been going on for decades.
Yet, there was absolutely no progress accomplished. Yet, while our liberals continue to whine about it, the population in developing countries rapidly grows, which allows us to suggest that these countries have a future.
