My strong belief is that in todays society a great emphasis is put on finding ones own life path, by realizing own strength and weakness. I believe it is what makes the difference between success and failure. Every human being is unique and posses their own characteristics. But there are some that think most people are basically the same.
I dont agree with that assessment. I do feel that every one is looking to accomplish the same basic goals: to be happy, live an honest and wealthy life, have a great career and be a great specialist. But each one succeeds in reaching his / her goals in the unique way. Speaking about myself Im a 31 years old man who has a desire to pursue a career in medicine. I have finished the basic courses including Psychology. But it is not enough to be a great specialist.
I want to get the best out of my study and I believe I have the great motivation for it. I want to be a highly qualified specialist and be sure that I can help many people who will need it. For this I need to finish more classes and get more education in medicine. I think that Navy's Health Professions Scholarship Program gives a great chance for people like me to try ourselves and win it for continuing our education. But it is not all that really motivates me. My strong belief is that navy service is a real lesson and examination in life that each man should take.
It is the place where we, men, get the knowledge of what is to be the real defenders of our country and our nation. And, of course, we get more responsibility for out own families and close people. Navy service is something that brings maturity for men in its complete understanding. It is what makes us think more of our lives and lives of others because a great responsibility of how to protect and defend people goes on our shoulders. Navy service gives a me a great opportunity to choose who I want to be and how long I want to serve in the navy.
I do want to be a doctor, but I believe that these two very important careers can go together. Helping people to take care or their health is as important as helping them to live the secure and peaceful life. Protecting and securing someones life is pretty much identical to protecting a persons health and well being. Concluding my essays I want to say that I have a strong desire and motivation to apply for the Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program. I want to help people and secure and protect their health as well as their wellbeing.
