The 2004 Elections The U. S. presidential elections that took place in 2004 marked the victory of the Republican Party. On Tuesday, November 2, 2004, George Bush, the Republican Party candidate gained victory over John Kerry, the Democratic Party candidate (Maps and cartogram's of the 2004 US presidential election results).
