International Organizations (1) We live in times when the application of conventional social, economic and political terminology, to describe the realities of living in post-industrial world, can no longer be thought of as fully adequate. Nowadays, the politics is much better described in terms of economy, social trends - in terms of psychiatry, and the economy itself in terms of criminology. This is the reason why, the continuous existence of many international organizations, such as U. N. , does not make much of a sense, in the eyes of people that were able to retain their sense of logic, despite being subjected to politically correct brainwashing for decades, especially given the fact that these organizations continue to be entitled with more and more executive powers, despite their apparent operational ineffectiveness. For the duration of last 30 years, not a single U. N.
Session has been conducted, without delegates spending a great amount of time, while discussing what can be done to eliminate hunger in developing countries. Yet, despite milliards of dollars being poured into these countries economies, over the course of decades, people in Africa did not become less hungry. The reason for this is simple developing countries are not really developing, they are rapidly descending into primeval savagery. The term developing countries is an ideological by-product of international Communism, which continues to be used by Western neo-Liberal politicians, despite the fact that the doctrine of Communism had sustained an utter ideological defeat.
In its turn, this allows us to suggest that the mainstream Western politicians pursue essentially a Marxist agenda (elimination of national identity, reducing people to the status of working robots, concentration of political power in the hands of very few people), although under more appealing disguise. In this paper, we will aim at exposing the existence of todays international organizations as counter-productive to the very idea of national sovereignty, simply because this idea is irreconcilable with the notion of new world order, which these organizations continue to promote with utter dedication. Also, we will make several hypothetical predictions as to the possible fate of U. N.
in decades to come. (2) The very concept of international cooperation dates back to 1648, when the so-called Peace of Westphalia was signed between European countries that participated in Thirty Years War. This peace treaty declared that it was a sovereign right of every country, to define its form of government, and its state religion, without the involvement of a third party, such as Holy See. In his article Sovereignty: An Introduction and Brief History, Daniel Philpott provides us with the insight on the utter importance of Peace of Westphalia, within a context of legitimizing the notion of national sovereignty: Before the 1648 Peace of Westphalia, the first modern revolution in sovereignty, there was no sovereignty; no legitimate authority was supreme within its territory Westphalia set new standards for each of sovereignty's three faces. It made the sovereign state the legitimate political unit. It implied that basic attributes of statehood such as the existence of a government with control of its territory were now, along with Christianity, the criteria for becoming a state (Philpott 360). Ever since the Peace of Westphalia was signed, it became possible for the members of geopolitical community to base their attitude towards the participants of just about every military conflict on absolutely rational principles.
This was the reason why post-Westphalia international treaties were marked with the high degree of effectiveness, despite the fact that there were no trans-national organizations at the time to assure signatories sticking to the terms of these treaties. Apparently the effectiveness of international cooperation is proportionally related to the extent of countries sovereignty, and has very little to do with the existence of international political bodies, which is commonly believed today. Two strong neighbouring countries are much more likely to respect treaties signed between them, then strong and weak countries, for example, even though that in latter case, the legitimacy of these treaties might be guaranteed by international organizations (League of Nations, UN). The validity of this thesis can be best illustrated by failure of League of Nations, which was founded in 1919, to prevent the outbreak of WWII in 1939. It is important to understand that the very notion of international cooperation as an objective category that has value in itself, is fallacious in its essence a particular country can only cooperate with other countries, within a context of pursuing a certain political or economic agenda, for as long as it serves this countrys national interests.
As famous saying goes treaties are only being signed to be broken. The emergence of international organizations, such as U. N. , WTO, NATO, Interpol etc. , after the end of WWII, signified two things: the lessening of the extent of nations sovereignty and the fact that geopolitical realities of post-war era were being increasingly defined by the Cold War. However, after collapse of Society Union in 1991, the existence of earlier mentioned organizations had ceased to make any sense, since U. S. had found itself in the position of a unilateral arbiter in the filed of international politics.
The fact that NATO coalition had attacked the independent state of Yugoslavia in 1999, and the fact that America had invaded Iraq in 2003 (in both cases under the excuse of protecting democracy), indicates that we no longer live in post-Westphalia world; because, in the eyes of international community's members, the notion of national sovereignty had ceased to represent an ontological value. Moreover, we can no longer think of national governments as fully independent political bodies, due to the process of Globalization. For example, it is a fact that the bulk Islamic terrorists financing comes from Saudi Arabia, when only very naive people can believe that this is happening without an unofficial consent from Saudi authorities. Israel, on the other hand, also does not think that it is inappropriate to spy on America, even though that its very existence in solemnly depended on Americas financial and economic aid. There were at least three instances, in recent ten years, of Israeli spies being caught, while trying to steal Americas state secrets. Yet, America continues to think of these two countries as its best allies.
Why? It is because the process of Globalization changes the very essence of international politics. Independent countries cease to think of protecting their national interests, as their foremost priority. Nowadays, national governments simply represent the interests of worlds financial elite on local levels.
This is the reason why today, international organizations, strive to acquire more and more executive powers. For example, within a matter of ten years, the European Union has been transformed from purely consultative economic body, into essentially a new country, with it its own flag, currency (Euro), Parliament and very soon its own armed forces. In his article A European Common Defence Community in the Making? , Douglas Goold says: The EU has come a long way from being focused on functional matters, such as coal and steel, atomic energy, agriculture and trade barriers, to developing into something that comes close to being a quasi-federal state. In fifty years, it has achieved more than its founding fathers might have imagined.
Not only has it developed in policy-making scope and depth and enlarged its membership, it has developed and consolidated its governing institutions (Goold 16). Todays EU is nothing but a bureaucratic quasi-state, with euro-ministers being put in position of designing socio-economic policies in countries-members. Euro-bureaucrats actually appoint themselves to organizations offices, while ordinary Europeans are being deprived of any opportunity to hold these bureaucrats responsible for their actions, whatsoever. In his article Former Soviet Dissident Warns for EU Dictatorship, Paul Belien quotes a former Soviet dissident Vladimir Bukovksy, who had suggested that slowly but surely, EU transforms into an equivalent of Soviet Union: The Soviet Union used to be a state run by ideology. Todays ideology of the European Union is social-democratic, statist, and a big part of it is also political correctness. I watch very carefully how political correctness spreads and becomes an oppressive ideology.

In his article Globalization Talk at Davos, while referring to World Economic Forum, which had taken place in Davos on January 30, 2009, Thomas Eddlem talks about it as an attempt of worlds Plutocracy to legitimize its strive to take over the world: What Merkel's (German Chancellor) proposal would mean in concrete terms is global government (which Globalists call global governance) and the creation of this global government through various international institutions under the umbrella of an empowered United Nations and its Millennium Goals. The Davos World Economic Forum masks itself as a free trade organization, but a closer look at the specific goals of the annual conference also reveals the overarching goal of global government (Eddlem 2009). Therefore, the purpose for the existence of majority of todays international organizations is to set the stage for the emergence of much advertised world new order, when a small number of hook-nosed experts are going to declare themselves a world government. After this happens, there will be public rallies, taking place throughout the world, with people expressing their protest towards establishment of World Government; this is why national governments in Western countries (puppets of international Plutocracy) are now being in such a rush to introduce more hate laws. In its turn, this explains why in recent years, the very idea of national sovereignty and the principles of Peace of Westphalia, are being openly ridiculed by promoters of the concept of brave new world (Globalization), such as Kenichi Ohmae, who in his book The Next Global Stage, had said the following: The global economy ignores barriers, but if they are not removed, they cause distortion. The traditional centralized nation-state is another cause of friction.
It is ill equipped to play a meaningful role on the global stage (Ohmae 25). Therefore, it would not be an exaggeration to say that countries participation in international organizations, such as U. N. or WTO, is meant to undermine the extent of their national sovereignty they loose much more from such participation then they could possibly win. One of the reasons why Switzerland is considered as one of the most economically and socially stable countries in the world, is because it is not member of U. N.
and had only recently acquired a symbolic membership in WTO. The true cause of todays Global economic crisis is absolutely rational: it is estimated that only 5 % of total amount of money in the world, reflect the actual value of physical assets the rest is nothing but paper, which simply cannot be redeemed. Wto's functionaries were aware of this fact, well before the outbreak of the crisis. Yet, WTO kept pumping milliards of dollars into developing countries economies, while exporting Americas inflation abroad. The U. N.
bureaucrats kept holding conferences on elimination of worlds hunger and elimination of worlds thirst, while staying at eight star hotels and while consuming tons of most exquisite delicacies and while quenching their thirst with champagne that cost $ 1. 500 - $ 2000 a bottle. Thus, it would be absolutely appropriate, on our part, to suggest that most of todays international organizations are parasitic socio-political entities, the existence of which can only benefit the equally parasitic worlds managers, who had incited current economic crisis and who continue to aspire gaining an undisputed political power in the whole world. (2) In this part of our paper, we will come up with predictions as to the possible case scenarios for the development of international organizations in the future, while focusing our attention on imaginary Organization for Combating Hunger Worldwide (OCHW). Despite the fact that such organization does not really exist, the probability of it is being founded in the future can be referred to as rather high, given the fact that elimination of worlds hunger has long became the matter of concern for such real international organizations as U. N. , UNESCO and WTO. The functionaries, representing these organizations, have been complaining about the fact that the problem of worlds hunger is not being addressed in the manner it deserves, since long time ago.
Therefore, it would only be logical, on our part to predict the founding of OCHW (even though it might bear a different name) during the course of next few years, as an additional bureaucratic instrument of financial scheming and money laundering. The prospects for founding such organization appear as being more realistic then they were, even as recent as few years ago (before the beginning of worldwide economic recession) simply because worlds financials elites are now seeking for the ways to take trillions of worthless U. S. dollars out of circulation, without triggering this currency's demonetization. One of the ways of accomplishing it is investing these dollars into the economies of developing countries, in exchange for these countries elites providing Western investors with the access to their nations mineral resources.
Such practice has been utilized by international Plutocracy for decades; however, the particularities of todays socio-political realities will require financial elites to transform it from the mean of generating income into the mean of preserving what they already have...
