Obama vs. McCain After the end of Presidential elections in U. S. , it became a statement of good taste, on the part of many political observers, to refer to elections result, as an indication of American society reaching the new heights of tolerance. We are being told that the reason why Barak Obama was being elected as Americas new President, is because his political populism has the value of thing in itself, which in its turn, means that his voters were being driven by rational considerations, while favoring him, as opposed to Senator McCain.

However, the closer analysis of the issue, allows us to suggest that the results of last Presidential elections illustrate the growing sense of racial solidarity, among representatives of racial minorities in America, on one hand, and the weakening of this type of solidarity, among American Whites, on another. In his article Exit Poll: Obama Image Undented despite Attacks, Alan Fram provides us with the insight on the sheer scope of support, enjoyed by Obama among Hispanics and Blacks, during the course of elections: Blacks were practically unanimous in their support for Obama, who will be the first African-American president. About two-thirds of Hispanics backed him too, quieting questions from the Democratic primaries, when they mostly supported Obama's rival, Hillary Rodham Clinton (Fram, 2008). Given the fact that African-Americans have traditionally been known for being politically apathetic, their unprecedented show-up rate, registered by an independent observers, can only have one explanation they have been voting for Obama not as a Democrat, but as Black person, whose racial affiliation will prompt him to side with Blacks, during the course of their confrontation with Whites, which continues to affect socio-political dynamics in U.

S. to ever-greater extent. At the same time, there can be no doubts as to the fact that Obama's victory had objective subtleties, as it signifies the death of American conservatism, as ideology associated with popular public appeal. It is not a secret that the significant number of White citizens had voted for Obama, simply because he can be the least referred to as boring politician with a lot of experience, as opposed to Senator McCain. We can say that it is the members of his own team, which McCain has to thank the most, for losing elections. Apparently, it never occurred to these people that placing emphasis on Mc Cains political experience, was the worst thing they could do, within a context of them trying to improve Senators popularity.

The reason for this is simple as practice shows, the less any particular politician can be referred to as expert, the more he is capable of practically benefiting his voters. For example, despite the fact that Adolph Hitler did not understand of what the concept of economy stands for, in the first place, he nevertheless managed to revitalize German economy within a matter of one year, after being elected as Chancellor, while turning Germany into the most economically prosperous country in Europe. It is politicians sincerity and not his or her experience, which counts. African-Americans and Hispanics, as people whose racial affiliation allows them to understand more then they could possibly know, because of the sheer acuteness of their anomalistic instincts, had no doubts as to the fact that Obama was the man to vote for. It is not by pure accident that in his endorsement speech, Senator John Kerry referred to Barack Obama as man of wisdom, instinct and vision, and not as professional or expert: Since the birth of our nation, change has been won by young Presidents and young leaders who have shown that experience is defined not by time in Washington or years in office, but by wisdom, instinct and vision, Mr. Kerry said of Mr.

Obama, who is 46 (Zeleny, 2008). Apparently, many intellectually honest White Americans felt in the same way, because nothing disturbs such people more then the sight of a senile Bible thumper striving to instill citizens with his understanding of what is right and what is wrong. Therefore, it was absolutely appropriate, on the part of Obama's image makers, to try to present him as down to Earth individual, who plays basketball, who derives a great pleasure out of holding babies in his hands, and who relies on his sense of humor, rather then on his ability to think logically, while referring to criticism. Despite the fact that Senator McCain should have been as wise as Obama in the ways of the world, given his extensive military record, he made a crucial mistake by adopting the strategy of logical appeal, as metaphysical foundation, upon which his election campaign was based.

In its turn, this can be explained by Senators inability to get a grasp on objective reality of America turning into Third World slum (due to the policy of multiculturalism), with more and more American citizens degrading to the point when they are simply incapable of discussing political matters, unless they feel that these matters relate to entertainment and sex, just as was the case with Roman citizens, during the time of Romes decline. The choosing of Sarah Palin, as candidate for Vice-Presidency, was not Mc Cains smartest move either, as Palin's physical appearance, her lifestyle and her intellectual powers (it takes some extra-talent, on the part of politician, to make public appearances, while being accompanied by her mentally retarded children! ) leave no doubt as to the fact that the career of porn-star would have suited her much better then the career of American politician. As a result, voters began to wonder as to whether McCain was in his sober mind, given Senators choices for his aides. Many White voters had also rightly concluded that there was not much difference between Obama and McCain, given both candidates numerous trips to Israel, during the course of which they banged their heads against the wall of sorrow and pledged their allegiance to Jewish cause, despite the fact that they were running not for Israeli but American Presidency.

It is the fact that White Americans were being slowly turned into second class citizens (when they attempt to defend their rights, it is being discussed as the expression of racist attitudes, on their part, whereas the process of representatives of racial minorities pushing forward their own agenda, is being discussed in terms of promotion of tolerance), even in time when Bill Clinton and George Bush served as Presidents, despite both individuals being White. Therefore, by voting for Obama, White Americans had simply manifested their intention to live by an old German saying the horrible end is still better then the horror without the end. If they are being made to feel ashamed for the color of their skin (descendants of slave owners), it would make much more sense to have a Black person as President at least, Whites underprivileged social status would be justified in their own eyes then. Citizens had simply gotten tired of always choosing in favor of lesser evil, during the course of elections, and decided to vote for the greater evil this time, just to see what will happen, as the result. Thus, we can say that the ultimate reason why Barak Obama was able to win the elections, is because he had proven himself as a supreme psychological manipulator, who understands perfectly well what moves people. In its turn, this proves the validity of an old saying if something is stupid, but works, it aint stupid.

Despite the fact that it was clear even for the cows that, by talking about forcing rich to pay higher taxes, pulling American military out of Iraq, and giving illegal aliens fair chance, Obama was indulging into the most primitive form of political populism, he nevertheless was able to win the hearts of Americans, and we can only congratulate him. This shows once again that, in multicultural society, the rational reasoning, as the political instrument of gaining public support, has absolutely no value. People only listen to what they want to hear. Unfortunately, Senator McCain had proven himself incapable of understanding this simple fact, just as he was incapable of understanding that choosing Palin as Vice-president would only cause harm to his election campaign. Therefore, we cannot really talk of Obama's victory as the result of members of his team coming up with some really inventive tricks to increase his appeal to voters he simply acted in natural and non-pretentious manner; therefore, it was absolutely natural for the voters to prefer him over McCain, who tried to mimic Obama's behavior, to the best of his ability, without being able to succeed in it, given his advanced age.
