The New Age Philosophy as Reflection of Americas Social Illness (1) In recent years, the popularity of commercial mysticism in America has been steadily rising, with majority of Americans thinking that there is nothing wrong with even well-established newspapers and magazines placing daily, weekly and annual horoscopes on its pages and with natural-born psychics utilizing these Medias to openly advertise their services. Nowadays, every librarian is well of the fact that it is mystical literature, which enjoys the most popularity with the readers, as opposed to scientific, documentary or historical literature. The so-called New Age Philosophy attracts more and more White people in America, as something that allows them to live in imaginary world of environmental friendliness, while consciously choosing in favor of remaining ignorant of objective realities of living in multicultural America. The variety of pseudo-scientific notions, such is dogma of peoples equality, are being forcibly instilled into students in colleges and universities, just as in the time of Middle Ages, when students were being indoctrinated to refer to non-geocentric models of universe as morally wrong and wicked. In this paper, we will aim at exposing such trend as an indication that there is something rotten in the kingdom of Denmark, because citizens obsession with irrationality, simply reflects them as being subjected to existential marginalization, which in its turn, can be explained by their tendency to celebrate diversity as their foremost social duty. (2) In the last century, before ancient Rome was being completely sacked by barbarians, its citizens consisted of crowds of degenerates, who were only preoccupied with indulgence in perverse sex and with attending gladiators fights.
These people used to purposelessly roam among Romes great buildings, built by their ancestors, without being able to understand how this was possible in the first place. In the same way, todays White Americans, live in the realm of morality, law and order, while sensing that their own existential worthlessness does not correspond to these concepts. The fact that they seem to posses an extensive knowledge as to how operate highly technological gadgets, does not corresponds to their ability to understand the objective properties of technology, as such that is based solemnly on scientific worldview. The fact they had been deprived of their existential vitality (it became obvious to everyone, during the course of last Presidential elections), has resulted in White Americans growing increasingly attracted towards Eastern exotics (just as was the case with Romans, before they adopted Christianity). In her article Beyond Crystals and Chakras, where Gwenda Bond discusses Americans unhealthy obsession with spirituality, she comes up with observation that helps us to get a better understanding of todays socio-political dynamics: It used to be easy to spot a New Age book - just look for references to crystals or chakras. Yet, as persistent rumours state, even George Bush used to consult with astrologists, before making important decisions, as if we were living during the time of Dark Ages. Therefore, it comes as no surprise why no scientific breakthroughs of universal magnitude have been achieved, during the course of last thirty years, (with exception of invention of Internet, which is now being increasingly used to promote pornography), while during the era of Industrial Revolution, as well as during the course of WWI and WWII, such breakthroughs were popping up every 2 - 3 years.
There appears to be two reasons that explain the subtleties of the process of more and more citizens yielding to primitive superstitions: 1) White Americans are being deprived of their existential vitality (they rarely have more then one child per family), 2) The national integrity of American society is being weakened from within, as the result of practice of racial mixing becoming fully legitimized under the disguise of celebration of diversity. In order for us to get a better understanding why many White Americans seem to be preoccupied with reading about pregnant unicorns and with composing personal horoscopes, even though that they should be more concerned about the fact that they are being turned into a minority in their own countries, we need to come up with brief description of so-called Theory of Three Generations, which is being used by Edward Gibbon in his famous work The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. The history of Western civilization can be thought of as the continuous succession of generations that posses a specific psychological traits. For example, in Homers poems, the characters are defined almost exclusively by the strength of their will power. There is nothing else about them. Such people are usually being referred to as representatives of first generation.
They are the fathers of nations, great military leaders and explorers. The history of their lives is read like an epic. People that belong to second generation, have both strength and intellect. They are the ones who build and conquer, while strengthening the foundation of earlier accomplishments. Martin Luther, Columbus, and Shakespeare, for example, are the typical representatives of second generation. As history progresses, people slowly loose their strength and all that there is remaining is intellect.
The end of 20 th century is strongly associated with emergence of people, who clearly belong to third generation, or as they are being commonly referred to - generation X and generation Y. They are undoubtedly intellectual, but they have neither the strength nor will power. The fact that representatives of third generation are being deprived of the spiritual qualities that allowed their ancestors to built and to maintain civilization, results in them becoming attracted to various degenerative socio-political doctrines, such as neo-Liberalism, and to begin to think of Eastern philosophical doctrines as such that contain answers to all questions. If we take a closer look at typical White Liberal, who would not be able to survive even a single day, without drinking organic coffee at Starbucks, and who takes a full advantage of celebration of diversity policy, by having its ears, lips and genitals pierced with silver rings, he or she will most definitely appear as a person closely associated with the philosophy of New Age thus, believing in astrology, communication with ghosts, and in Earth having a soul, just as much as believing in possibility of building a multicultural paradise on this planet. Therefore, we can only agree with Johann Hari, who in his article New Age Drivel and Superstition Posing as Science are Threatening our Progress talks of New Age superstitions as such the pose clear and immediate danger to scientific and cultural progress in this country: It used to be easy to spot attacks on science.
A Southern pastor would wave the Bible and hiccup that he wasn't descended from no monkey. An African village would refuse vaccines, preferring the hallucinatory treatments of the local sage. New Age fortune-tellers would sell their potions in fairgrounds. All would be quickly dismissed by people who could see the fruits of science every time they flicked a light-switch or headed to their GP.
But over the past few decades, the enemies of science have evolved (oh, the irony). Rather than attacking the Enlightenment from the front, pedlars of irrationality and superstitious theories have begun to claim that their beliefs are simply alternative and equally valid scientific theories (Hari, 2005). Thus, we can conclude that peoples preoccupation with occult simply corresponds to their low biological value. The reason why ancient Romans, in time of Romes decline, tended to indulge in superstitions as much as many of contemporary Americans, who actively practice celebration of diversity, is because, just as it is the case with these Americans, their existential worth was significantly lowered by the fact that they were affected by racial mongrel ization. Racial mixing deprives individual of its existential idealism and creates genetic preconditions for such individuals anomalistic urges to begin defining his existential mode more then any other factor. Apparently, people are subjected to the laws of nature just as animals and plats are.
Dogs breeders are well aware of the fact that the most vicious dogs are always the ones that have been affected by crossbreeding. For example, the pit bull, which is known for its unmotivated attacks on children, has been artificially breaded out of genetic pool associated with thirty different dogs pedigrees. The same applies to people the more they are being affected by racial mongrel ization, the more they appear to be psychologically deviated. It is only because of White Liberals existential weakness, which prevents them from using their New Bge beliefs to cause harm to themselves and to others, as it is the case with Black rapists in South Africa, who indulge in gang-rape of young girls simply because they seriously believe that having sex with virgins will cure them of AIDS. In her article Endangered Species: Examining South Africa's National Rape Crisis and Its Legislative Attempt to Protect Its Most Vulnerable Citizens, Ashley Moore provides us with the insight on what happens when irrational superstitions are allowed to take hold of peoples minds: According to estimated figures, sixty children are raped everyday in South Africa. Children under eighteen years of age represent an estimated 40 % of South African rape victims It is a popular myth in AIDS-ravaged South Africa that having sex with a virgin cures the disease (Moore, p. 1469).
Thus, whereas White Americans obsession with occult comes as result of them loosing their existential vitality, as we have illustrated earlier by making reference to Gibbons Theory of Three Generations, such obsession, on the part of racial hybrids with American citizenship, simply corresponds to their low rate of IQ. The reason why, after the end of colonial era, Africa was being turned into the arena of never-ending tribal warfare, just as it was the case before the arrival of European explorers, has nothing to do with the legacy of apartheid or with historical injustice, but solemnly with the fact that African Blacks average IQ rate equals 60 (as it is being illustrated in Richard Lynn's book IQ and the Wealth of Nations), whereas White people who score lower then 70, during the course of IQ tests, are being declared as mentally deficient. While actively celebrating diversity, White Americans had failed to notice that their own intellectual level was being reduced to match the intellectual level of their underprivileged mates, as the result of such celebration. It is namely this that prompts seemingly normal Whites to seriously discuss the significance of astrological charts, even though that, as recent as fifty years ago, only a truly ignorant person could suggest that astrology had any practical value.
This was in time when Americas economy was at its strongest, when American astronauts were being sent to the Moon, and when the overwhelming majority of people in the world thought of America as to what it really was a paradise on Earth, where hard working and intelligent individuals could easily gain a social prominence. Nowadays, it is Russians who are in charge of launching American space tourists into the space, it is gangsta criminals, and not the cops, who are considered as masters of the street and it is China, where 90 % of Americas industrial goods are being manufactured. In other words, the growing popularity of occult and exoteric philosophies in America directly relates to the process of this countrys inner integrity being undermined, as a result of our politicians lacking a clear understanding of the essence of socio-political processes. Just as the streets of American cities are being turned into the battleground of everybody against everybody (diversity makes us stronger! ), the process of receiving education in this country is being transformed into the tool of instilling students with notions that are utterly contradictory to the spirit of real science. In his article Stars Above! , John Derbyshire expresses his misunderstanding over the fact that teaching astrology in American places of high learning has now acquired an absolutely legal status: Those of us who were around in the 1970 s often felt we might not make it through that strange decade with our sanity intact if just one more person came up to us at a party and said: "What sign are you?" That particular form of silliness has not so much sunk without a trace as risen without a trace: Astrology can now be studied, for a bachelor's or master's degree, at the Kepler College of Astrological Arts and Sciences in Seattle. Nothing very deplorable about that, you might think.
The New Age movement has thrown up all sorts of odd manifestations. Kepler College, however, is authorized by the Higher Education Coordinating Board of Washington State (Derbyshire, p. 26). Nowadays, U. S. is growing increasingly dependant on the import of real scientists and technicians from abroad. It is not a secret that, for example, 60 % of Microsoft software designers are former Russian hackers, who became naturalized American citizens, despite the fact that majority of them possessed an extensive criminal record, prior to immigrating to America. It is highly doubtful of whether they understand what the concept of celebration of diversity stands for, or whether they waste any of their time on exploring their astrological uniqueness.
However, this does not undermine their professional value. Quite contrary - it is exactly what makes them highly efficient employees. On the other hand, we have hordes of native-born experts in the fields of public relations, racial relations and human resources management, who, after having obtained a degree, begin to slowly realize that governments welfare checks might serve as the only source of their income, for the rest of their lives, because their professional knowledge is useless, just as the knowledge of astrology is useless, within a context of trying to predict peoples destinies. (3) In ancient times, people might have lacked the empirical knowledge. However, they were perfectly aware of the principle everything has to do with everything.
For example, they would never doubt that persons physical appearance somehow relates to his existential mode. They knew that if a particular country saw booming births of boys, it was only the matter of very short time, before such county would become engulfed by war. They knew that molten gold can be easily mixed with other metals and that it would be simply impossible to rid such gold of impurities and to restore its metallic nobility afterwards. They knew how to define social implications of just about any physical phenomenon. Nowadays, even though that there is plenty of historical evidence as to the fact that the growing popularity of occult and exoteric teachings, within a particular society, precedes the actual collapse of such society, the majority of Americans fail to recognize the full extent of a danger, associated with daily horoscopes finding its way onto the pages of not just yellow press, such as National Enquirer, but of respectable newspapers, such as The New York Times, or The Washington Post.
We can say that the popularity of horoscopes, non-traditional medicine, Zen mediation (when practiced by Whites) etc. in America simply means that very shortly, this country will cease being of what it used to be and there are very little reasons for us to think that ordinary Americans will benefit from it, regardless of their racial affiliation. Once U. S. becomes engulfed by social chaos (a regular electric blackout in large American city can easily trigger such chaos), it will be up to White Americans belonging to first generation to restore law and order in this country.
