America Report This report is in regard to the number of gods worshipped in this conglomeration and their temples. They seem to be divided by class. In a few of the more luxurious the worshippers are shown to seats by acolytes. The worship consists of putting items into the central orifice of their upper body. In many cases this gives obvious pleasure, but there are some who do not enter fully into a worshipful attitude, but instead merely turn the items about with the special instruments placed there in front of them. There are no hymns as such, but there may be music and one frequently hears the bipedal's in moments of ecstasy calling out God! , one of the few words I am able to understand as their orifices are used both for storing of the items and for communication by sound waves.

These more luxurious temples are surprisingly to minor gods for each has its name outside and though I am as yet unfamiliar with the language I can see that each name is different. There are other temples however, of the less luxurious type, where the same god has many different places of worship. In these the bipeds often stand in long lines in order to pay their respects. Red and gold seem popular colors. There are none of the shiny silver instruments, but only silvery machines out of reach to the worshippers, though a very few white sticks are used by a minority. I have tried to discover more about the objects they store, but found that I needed to have in my possession first a type of token.

These are given to the acolytes and priests (some priestesses also) presumably as proof that the bipedal is fit to partake in the worship ceremony. I note that the priests and acolytes often wear special robes and head wear. In the more luxurious temples these are usually in black and white, but in the smaller temples they tend to use red. Why this particular color is so popular I have yet to discover. There are certain ritual sayings among the acolytes and priests that I hear over and over again, but cannot yet work out their significance Duyawan or Duyawan seems to precede many of these, as in Duyawan fryswiththa. Another phrase heard only in the red and yellow temples is Eatinorout to which the worshipper replies either In or Out These smaller temples are always crowded.

So much so that some of the worshippers are forced to leave immediately they have been given their items and take no more part in the ceremonies, but must place their items into storage after they leave the building. There seems to be no special times for services in many of these temples, but a continuous flow of worshippers every day and from early morning until late into the night. I have however observed that the objects offered for storage, perhaps as a form of communion with their god, do vary from time to time. Certain items are only available early in the morning and are replaced by other items later. In the larger temples there is much more variety in the items offered for storage.

Some of them are green, a color not in favour in the temples of the more popular gods. Almost invariably each bipedal takes for storage a solid item and a liquid one. In the larger temples the liquids are in transparent containers, but in the smaller establishments, especially I have noticed in those to the god Cafe (sometimes spelt Coffee) they are served in secretive solid cylinders so that a casual observer cannot see easily into the containers. Those who are forced to leave the worship with their liquids have then in covered containers. In some cases these have tubes which reach up to their orifices and they seem to use suction to transfer the item into storage. Careful observation has led me to believe that some worshippers return to the same temple every day, especially when the solar disc is at its highest point.

While commending them for their obvious faithfulness one wonders when they are able to find time for other activities. I have of course been looking at eating out in a large American city.
