ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENT WEBSITES The five links given featured different national and local news that are all relevant to the times today. Prominent in those sites are news about the elections and the fight of the Democrats and Republicans. One site also featured the senior citizens which is 35 percent of the States population and which is projected to be over 50 years old this year. It is a fight between these two candidates and as well as the delicate issues that need to be reckoned with. The issue on the War of Iraq is filled with emotional outpour's and economic considerations. It really does not matter now whether the Democrats in the US Congress wanted to put a halt to it.
It also does not matter whether the Republicans are still supporting it. The most important issue today is that the American people have decided. They want to end the War on Terror, they want to end the War on Iraq. What matters now is how these politicians will heed and represent the true voice of their constituents. Now is the time for the Democrats to make up and it is good that an overwhelming 73 % of them wanted an end to the US military involvement in Iraq. Months ago, they failed to veto the war.
The Republican has won in support of the Bush administration. They do not have to rid eon political motives to support the anti war sentiments. They just have to zero in their votes against it. Bipartisan politics is always politics. The Republicans, no matter how we try to convince them, will never favor for the immediate pull out of the military from Iraq. They will always follow their President George Bush.
It is like committing political suicide if they will turn their votes to stopping the Iraq War. The best that they could do is to swallow the arguments little by little, in the slowest time possible in congruence with the new policies and approaches that the US government will make out of this mess. The Iraq War is a continuing battle and occupation that began with the United States-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. President George Bush reasoned that time that Iraq maintains weapons of massive destruction, it holds ultimate threat to the already threatened world and they should be stopped at any cause. The human and financial costs of this useless war have escalated. The worst thing now is that they have also instigated a civil unrest in the controversial Middle East conflict zone and this might even lead to a world war, if this is not urgently put to a halt.
The Democrats must continue to make their headway's because they hold the key to politically maneuver this futile war to its final end. They are also in the political limelight as more and more Americans are making their sentiments felt about this war. They hold the decisive power to end the evils of the Iraq War. Now that they have heard the people articulated their anti-war sentiments, the more they have to gather their acts together. The Democrats must rally against the Iraq War on the ground that the attacks are also attacks to the American and Iraqi people.
This, in itself, constitute terrorism, the very threat they purportedly fighting against. Hence, the Democrats must unite and rally over the immediate end of the Iraq War. They must not argue differently like propose for the withdrawal of the U. S. troops, plan to vote to continue funding the war and / or add equipment, training and rest requirements for troop deployments to Iraq. They must make a general and a resounding consensus to stop the war and plan their strategy to make it happen as soon as possible.
They must act now for history depends on their political actions and activism.
