Nazism Introduction In order for us to understand why political ideology of National-Socialism became so appealing to great many people, throughout the world, before outbreak of WWII, it is important to keep in mind that socio-political dynamics are defined by objective factors. People become associated with different political ideas because of their metaphysical association with the essence of these ideas. Therefore, it is wrong to suggest that the reason why overwhelming majority of Germans used to support Hitler until 1945 is that he was a master of psychological manipulation, as it is often being suggested by contemporary historians. Apparently, Nazi party did benefit citizens, in one way or another, so that they continued to support it until the very end. This indicates that the phenomenon of Nazism cannot be discussed out of cultural, social and historical contexts. According to a famous saying the history is being written by the victors.
This is especially the case with the history of National-Socialist movement and the history of WWII, in general. In this paper, we will try to remain objective, during the course of our analysis, which will deprive paper of its political correctness, but will add to its academic credibility. (1) Let us begin with historical retrospective. In 1917, Russia saw a Communist takeover, which later is going to be associated with millions of people killed, simply because they belonged to wrong social classes. The citizens of European nations could not ignore the fact of disproportional representation of Jews in Russian Communist government. In his book March of the Titans - History of White Race, Arthur Kemp shows a direct link between Communism and the racial affiliation of its main perpetrators: Virtually all of the important Bolshevik leaders were Jews: they included the "father of the revolution, " Leon Trotsky, Lev Kamenev, the early Bolshevik leader who later went on to become a leading member of the Politburo, was born with the surname Rosenfeld; Grigori Zinoviev, head of the Petrograd Soviet, was born with the surname Apfelbaum; and many other famous Communists of the time, such as Karl Radek, Lazar Kaganovich; and Moses Urtisky, (the head of the Cheka) who all changed their names for reasons similar to that of Trotsky (Kemp). ). By 1922, 95 % of members of Politburo were Jews and those few Russians in it, were married to Jewesses.
It was in time, when Jews constituted only 2 % of population in Russia. The names of Rosa Luxemburg, Kurt Eisner and Bela Kun become instantly associated with terror.
Quite predictably, the leaders of Communist revolutions in Europe were also Jews. It is hard for us to assume now, but Communists were really intending to conquer the whole world, before WWII, and Jews played most prominent role in Communist movement. This is simply a historical fact. Therefore, it was only natural for Germans to begin to think of Jews as fifth column.
Todays Medias portray Weimar republic as democratic and even progressive country. The truth is slightly different. The annual inflation ratio in Germany, between 1920 and 1930, was often reaching 300 %. Sixty percent of Germany's workforce was unemployed. Germany had to pay enormous reparations, according to the Treaty of Versailles, which made the cultural and social progress in this country simply impossible. Many Jewish bankers were quick to use the misfortune of Germans to their own advantage.
The staggering inflation rate allowed them to acquire factories and real estate for pennies. Just as it is in America nowadays, representatives of chosen people also dominated Germany's cultural life. By promoting homosexuality, cosmopolitanism and other types of spiritual depravity, they strived to reduce Germans to a bunch of hedonists, who only cared about sensual pleasures. This was the reason why more and more Germans were growing critical of chosen people and not because they were filled with irrational hate, as we are being told today. In 1920, German National-Socialist Party announced 20 points of its political program.
Among them were: nationalization of banks, refusal to pay reparations, ending of poverty among Germans by creation of new jobs, introduction of social policies that would offer a financial and social assistance to newly wed couples and bringing sanity to German cultural life by making the promotion of spiritual decadence and degeneracy to be illegal. It is very remarkable that, prior to his acquisition of political power, Hitler did not suggest taking any drastic measures against Jews. He simply wanted to make their representation in the fields of commerce, culture, and law to be proportionate to their actual numbers. It is a fact that Jews think of themselves as the smartest people on Earth, but Germans are also quite intelligent. They began to question whether it was appropriate for the Jews to hold the majority of socially prominent jobs, without striving to integrate into German society. However, even this moderate approach to Jewish problem resulted in Jews instigating a mass hysteria against Germany, throughout the world.
They thought of host nation trying to shake off their spiritual yoke as something inappropriate. We are far from suggesting that consequential prosecution of Jews in Germany was absolutely justified. German anti-Semitism often assumed a grotesque forms, when every Jew needed to register with local police etc. However, it is important to understand that this practice was legal, even though that many historians and politicians think of it as immoral. In contemporary America, ICE hunts down the illegal immigrants, in order to deport them back to where they came from, which often results in their death from starvation, because there are no jobs to be found in their native countries. Moreover, it is necessary for preventing this country from becoming a part of Third World. The same situation was in Germany, before the outbreak of Second World War. Rightly or wrongly, Hitler considered Jews to be anti-social elements and strived to reduce their social and political influence. He was able to accomplish this within a few years.
The results became evident almost immediately. Even the most hard-core critics on National-Socialism admit that, from time when Hitler came to power to the outbreak of Second World War, Germany underwent a miraculous transition. For the first time in history, German government was able to completely liquidate unemployment. Workers enjoyed unprecedented social benefits, such as paid vacations abroad and free housing. With beginning of Volkswagen Beetle production, cars ceased to be the luxury items in Germany, even before it happened in America.
The workers living standards in Germany became highest in the whole world. All this was made possible after Hitler had simply nationalized Germany's speculative capital, which was in predominantly Jewish hands. What international Jewry could never forgive Hitler is the fact that he showed the example to other nations. Plutocrats in Britain and United States began to realize that they could no longer tolerate National-Socialism, because it was only the matter of time, before citizens of their own countries would start questioning why was it possible to establish a social justice in Germany, while it could not be done anywhere else in the world. This is why, we need to understand that Second World War was bound to happen, regardless of whether Hitler pursued his policy of territorial expansion or not, because National-Socialism was threatening the very existence of political corruption in Western counties. (3) Nazism is essentially a cult of physical health, beauty, and intelligence.
Many historians refer to the rise of Nazi party as conservative revolution as opposed to liberal revolution, with ideas of equality and progress. This only partially is a truth. The twelve years of Nazi rule in Germany is nothing but an extraordinary attempt to adapt the ideas of ancient Greeks to the realities of modern times. Today, many people are puzzled with the fact that nation of philosophers and composers had so easily adopted the ideals on National-Socialism.
They think of it as something incomprehensible. This is the classical case when people look at the root of the problem at point blank range, yet they are unable to recognize it. European culture was developing as a succession of the same ideas from ancient times, through Renaissance, to comparatively recent historical past. These ideas view cultural and technological progress as such that is made possible by peoples ability to operate with abstract concepts.
National-Socialism suggests that this ability is defined by biological factors, in other words, it is peoples racial affiliation that corresponds to their objective value. This is why, what we refer to as progress, is strongly associated with presence of White people. Once these people leave or become assimilated with locals, it is only the matter of time, before indigenous populations sink back into savagery, as it happened with independent nations in Africa, once they shook off the colonial rule. The answer to this can be found within a context of evolutionary theory. Apparently, this theory is applicable to all living organisms and not just to animals or insects.
Therefore, National-Socialism can be referred to as the first political ideology, in the history of mankind, which has scientific notions incorporated in its very core. As such, it has never sustained an ideological defeat, unlike Communism. That is why National-Socialism came as very natural worldview for not just Germans, as people that contributed enormously to the progress of Western civilization, but for majority of other Europeans as well. As war drew closer to Europe in 1944 - 1945, millions of Europeans were volunteering to join SS divisions, so that they could fight advancing barbarians from the East, just like in times when the whole Europe had to unite, in order to defend itself from invasions of Huns and Mongols.
Nazism strives for equality, but only equality among truly equal. It views individual as an integral part of its nation and promotes the notion of national solidarity. Unlike Fascism, which encourages citizens to love their nation, regardless of its objective quality, Nazism suggests that only biologically healthy nation is worthy of love. National-Socialism views individual as an intermediary link between ape and super-man, which implies that homo sapiens is not the final product of evolution.
It explains the reasons why some worlds nations were able to develop technologies that allowed their representatives to be launched into the space, while many indigenous tribes were never able to progress beyond the Stone Age. National-Socialism can be viewed as social vaccine, which was supposed to strengthen Europeans in the wake of great danger from the East. It is very easy for us to criticize it, but if we lived in Germany during thirties, our opinion could have been different. National-Socialism produced a deathblow to international Communism. Like a wounded bear, Stalin was able to regain strength and to put an end to National-Socialist Germany, yet after this, it became only the matter of time before Communism would collapse. There is no danger that Communism will ever rise again because it failed ideologically, while failure of Nazism was purely militarily, as we have mentioned earlier.
