World War 2 In order for us to understand what was the real reason for World War 2 to break out, we will need to draw parallels between socio-political circumstances in Europe in 1914 and 1939. In 1914, Germany's rapid development began to represent a threat to England's geopolitical interests, throughout the world. We need to remember that England always acted as the major factor of international tension in Europe, since Napoleonic Wars. England's international politics were being based on one simple principle prevention of establishing a stable balance of power between European countries. England always tried to act as mediator, when it would come to political negotiations. As arbiter, England would support the weakest party, in order for not allowing any particular European country to become really strong, because it would prevent Britain from exercising its political authority in Europe.

In 1914 Britain was facing the prospect of losing its geopolitical power. This is why it was being decided to plunge the world into the new war. United States and England simply needed to eliminate Germany as economic competitor. Exactly the same thing was the main motivational factor behind World War 2. The Treaty of Versailles deprived Germany of many of its historical territories, such as Elzas, Saar, Bohemia and Danzig. Germany was being forced to pay astronomical amounts in war reparations every year, which made it impossible for this country to even hope to end the overwhelming poverty of its citizens.

In a way, Treaty of Versailles was nothing but a time-delayed geopolitical bomb, which was going to explode sooner or later. Britain and United states were well aware of it; nevertheless, it was in their interest to allow political tensions in pre-war Europe to gain momentum. At the same time, more and more people in Europe began to realize that they were being used as canon meat, during World War One. They realized that, while they were fighting at the front line, many individuals were able to make enormous fortunes, while remaining in rear. Oddly enough, the overwhelming majority of such individuals happened to be Jews. This resulted in the rise of anti-Semitic sentiment in all European countries, prior to 1939.

Also, it was one of the reasons while Hitler was able to seize the political power with the mean of popular support. Even the most hard-core critics on National-Socialism admit that, from time when Hitler came to power to the outbreak of Second World War, Germany underwent a miraculous transition. From country with staggering inflation rate, where 60 % of workers were being unemployed, it turned into most powerful country in Europe, within a matter of few years. If it was not up to the war, Hitler would go down in history as greatest German that ever lived. It began to dawn on Plutocrats in Britain and United States that Germany had to be destroyed, because it was only the matter of time, before citizens of their own countries would start wondering why is it impossible to establish a social justice within a society, while it was being done in Germany with such ease. This is why we need to understand that Second World War was bound to happened, regardless of whether Hitler pursued his policy of territorial expansion or not.

National-Socialism had to be destroyed because it was threatening the very existence of Western democracies on spiritual level. Nazism is essentially a cult of physical health, beauty and intelligence. Many historians refer to the rise of Nazi party as conservative revolution as opposed to liberal revolution with ideas of equality and progress. This only partially is a truth. The twelve years of Nazi rule in Germany is nothing else but an extraordinary attempt to adapt the ideals of ancient Greeks to the realities of twentieth century. Nazism strives for equality, but only equality among truly equal.

Today many people are puzzled with the fact that nation of philosophers and composers had so easily adopted the ideals on National-Socialism, they think of it as something incomprehensible. This is the classical case when people look at the root of the problem at point blank range, yet they still cannot see it. European culture was developing as a succession of the same ideas from ancient times, through Renaissance, to comparatively recent historical past. That is why National-Socialism came as very natural worldview for not just Germans, but for majority of Europeans. As war drew closer to Europe in 1944 - 1945, millions of Europeans were willing to join SS, so that they could fight advancing barbarians from the East, just like in times when the whole Europe had to unite, in order to defend itself from invasions of Huns and Mongols. Also, let us not forget that in years 1930 - 1940 Communism was at its strongest, while striving for no less than taking over the whole world.

Up until collapse of Soviet Union in 1991, its emblem used to be hammer and sickle over the globe. In years, prior to Hitler acquiring political power, Soviet Union used to send marginalized elements to Germany in order to undermine its political stability. They were supposed to spread the fire of Communism to Germany as well. Today it became customary to accuse Hitler of dreaming about globe domination, yet he never openly suggested that he wanted to conquer the world, while Stalin did so numerous times.

Thus, by 1939 Europe was ripened for the war. On one hand, there was a Germany that wanted to return back its historical territories, on the other there were Britain, France and United States, which were interested in escalation of international tensions, because it would enable them to pursue their secular interests, such as boosting up their economies by the mean of war contracts. Today many historians suggest that Britain and France were genuinely concerned about the fate of Poland. That is why they had no option but to declare war on Germany. If this was the case, why didnt they declare war on Soviet Union, whose troops occupied a half of Poland at the same time with Hitler? In the East, there was Stalin with army of 5 million men and with 25. 000 tanks, positioned in immediate proximity to the German border.

He had his own agenda. Stalin was waiting until Hitler would begin his invasion of England, then Stalin would strike from behind, pushing his hordes across defenseless Europe, while being praised as liberator by Britain and United States. It takes 25 years for every new generation to gain prominence. The horrors of trench warfare were well forgotten by 1939.

It is only the memories of Holocaust that become more vivid and graphic, as time passes on, but usually, events do have a tendency to fade away in peoples memory. Many young people do not necessarily associate war with horrors. For them, war is the time when they can realize their full potential as individuals, it is a time when everything is clear and it is a time when artificial notions cease to have any importance. According to sociological surveys, generation that went through WWI and WWII was the least subjected to mental depression.

Therefore, we can say that World War 2 occurred because overwhelming majority of people strived for it, on subconscious level. There is no doubt that the Third World War between U. S. and Soviet Union would take place in a few years, after the victory over Nazism, if it was not up to the threat of nuclear annihilation.

People do not get tired of war; they get tired of continuous peace. Psychologists are aware of this; therefore, the question why WWI and WWII occurred in such rapid succession is not considered by them as unsolvable enigma. National-Socialism produced a deathblow to international Communism. Like a wounded bear, Stalin was able to regain strength and to put an end to National-Socialist Germany, yet after this, it was only the matter of time before Communism would collapse. Britain had lost all of its colonies, as the result of war. It is quite remarkable that the true winner of both WWI and WWII was United States, even though that this country tried to make an impression that it became involved in wars very reluctantly.

In 1939 U. S. Gold Reserve consisted of 3 tons, in 1945 it accounted for 15 tons. America began to get rid of excessive dollars by investing it in Europe, while strengthening its own economy.

By 1991, America controlled the whole world, without having to resort to military occupation. As history shows, masses often have a hard time defining what they really want. Therefore, politicians do it for them. As the example of WWI and WWII proves, there can be no unpopular wars - there can only be propagandist ineffectiveness, on the part of Medias.
