I believe that a true hero is someone who can be admired for their actions and motives more than the outcome of any incorrect decisions.
Someone who portrays a send of honesty, morality and faith in those he can trust. Trusting his friends and family until there is absolute proof otherwise. I believe Hamlet portrays all that is good in each one of us. Yes, his inability to act can be viewed as less than honorable, but his true humanity and intentions are nothing less than that of a true hero. Nonetheless, the situation in its entirety is a tragedy of huge proportions. Perhaps best said by Fortinbras upon taking control and ordering the mess cleaned up: Take up the bodies.
