No change is needed to encourage Canada to develop a stronger national unity. Just some guidance on the system we already have. Canadas current federal governing system is built on a strong platform of Canadian pride. Although this system has failed to provide Canada with a firm grasp on achieving oneness, we have experienced enough to push our way through the crowds.
Canada is home to a wide variety of cultural groups. The Canadian landscape consists of mountains, tundra, forests, lakes, and prairies. The climate is wet, sunny, cold, and snowy all at the same time. Not any where in the world will you find a country that offers such diversity. The people of Canada must take advantage of all that this country has to offer. Using the true contrast to unite Canadians, rather than separating them.

This requires love from both sides. The people of Canada must support and accept decisions made by the government, and trust they are for the better. In return the government should allow more say by the public. What is it that Canadians really want? How can everyones needs be met, and standard of living be equalized.
Doing this will ensure a win-win situation for everyone. The results will not lead to divorce (complete independent nations), nor will it lead to a "one-power" relationship (unitary system). Being the Prime Minister of Canada is no easy job. Its like being the parent of two younger children. If one gets something, the other wants it too. Nothing is fair, nothing is even.
But in the end they realize everything was to benefit them. Like Canadas east and west. The governments have to provide for the high demands in the east. By giving more benefits, and more political power to them to account for the higher population. The west feels this is unfair. But the same benefits, and political power has been given to them according to population.
The east and west both provide and serve Canada with real devotion. Right now, it may feel that federalism has abandon parts of Canada. But trust in the power of a system capable of giving back something a nations never experienced. Oneness. The idea of Canada developing into complete independent nations is unrealistic. By having the provinces separate would be saying to the world that, we are too pathetic to reach our goal.
We would be saying to our children that dreams of peace cant come true. Canada would be giving up on a dream greater than herself. The independent provinces would quickly be swept up by the arms of the US, and engulfed into their world of chaos. A nightmare that Canadians would never wake up to. Ruling Canada through a unitary system is much to strict.
Canada would be colder than ever. Through harsh, and enforced living, the people of Canada would be striped of their freedom. Deprived of being proud of a county, that gave up on a dream of equalization, and took the easy way out. All Canadians are proud of being apart of a country that cares. A country that celebrates its uniqueness, through the sprits it has nurtured. Over the vast mountains, across the providing prairies, over the hills and into every valley, from sea to sea.
Canada stretches its arms to reach out to every person. To help their dreams fly. The people give back to Canada, they secure her, with a promising leader. By maturing our ideas and thoughts about federalism, the image of peace becomes much more clear. Because one day, Canada will be one.
