Millions of years before man was created, there thrived a planet much like Earth. Its inhabitants were the creators of the universe and the masters of all that lived. These beings were later called gods and goddesses. For millenniums these gods and goddesses lived at peace with each other, living off of their own creations.
Then from the ashes of the fallen beings rose one god, said to be the most viscous, ruthless, and evil god to have ever risen. His name was Memnoch, often referred to as Memnoch the devil. After a few short years he gathered a massive army made up of not only gods, goddesses, angels, devils, nymphs, and all other creatures ever created, but the very first of the titans, Cronos. The war was started the battlefield was set, and the evil god made the first move. In one fowl swoop he slaughtered every creature that did not surrender to his will. It was a stalemate for most of this war, until Cronos made a discovery.
He found, by dipping any weapon with the blood of a golden centaur he could kill a god or goddess. With this new finding mensch quickly overtook the remaining gods and goddesses enslaving them for generations. The once thriving beautiful planet now turned to ashes and burning flames, it had been completely turned from its once glorious self. Then the year when the third and first planet were in alignment a child was born, the only breed of his kind, titan, and god. He was impervious to the gold centaur blood, and as strong as a god. He was raised as a king next to Cronos and mensch he held the power.
His name was Desmes, he was married to the fairest of all goddesses, Atlanta, goddess of the sea. Then it happened, Desmes rebelled, it happened in the blink of an eye. He turned against the evil ruler of the gods. Desmes approached Memnoch one morning and formally challenged him saying A great poverty has stricken our home because of you.
His breath was heavy and he sounded as if he were about the burst, I challenge you, all or nothing! Slightly amused mensch just laughed at the young half breed. Foolish little boy, he replied mockingly. Fine I accept, but as you say all or nothing, after you are dead your wife will need a suitor, I just happen to be available for that position. In a fleet of anger Desmes lunged head first into fighting him, quick to react mensch grabbed the half breed and flung him to the center of the planet. Following quickly they began their unending war against one another.
For years upon years the war between the two greatest gods went on! Neither one stopping, neither one slowing down, both fighting for their lives. Their energy's alone shook the ground above them. Meanwhile in the absence ok a ruler like him, the planet once again began to prosper. Everybody took both to be dead. Atlanta ended up wedding Cronos and they had one child together.
Then it happened: The core of planet which supplied the life to the home of the gods and goddesses shuttered. It turned from a glowing yellow to a burning red in a matter of seconds. Just then Desmes did the most foolish thing anybody could have done. He robbed all the gods and goddesses of their immortality and their powers and sucked the energy into his own body. Then in a stroke of pure stupidity he sent that energy straight into the burning core.
The heat and power from all the energy erupted in a massive blast that shook the universe. The once home of the gods was destroyed, all but two gods and goddesses were destroyed, cronos and his wife. Just before the blast erupted the gods and goddesses combined with one other, even Memnoch and Desmes saw this as the only way to live. The souls of the gods and goddesses fused and flew into all regions of space.
But Memnoch and Desmes, though one of the lightest burning souls went to watch over Cronos and his wife on the planet called Earth. Millions of years later, the humans began to name the constellations, and soon they called the souls of the gods and goddess, stars.
