... from the chamber and each gun leaves a different mark. Only one of the casings had the mark given by Oswald's gun. The FBI researched and studied the casings and found that the other two casings had been fired in another gun of the same type as Oswald's.

This evidence, however, was not mentioned in the commission's report. This brings me to the point of where the bullets came from. Let us look at the situation from the idea that Oswald was the only assassin. If he had been the only shooter, then the bullet casings would have to have matched his gun. Also, there would have to have been more time between shots on the Zapruder film, the only film made of the assassination. On the Zapruder film, the time between Kennedy being hit by the first bullet and then being hit in the head by another bullet is only one point three eight seconds.

The time it takes for a rifleman in the Marine Corps to fire, unbolt, report, and fire the gun that Oswald used is two point two five seconds. There is not enough time on the film for Oswald to have done all the shooting. Also, the bullet wounds present another problem. There was an entrance wound on Kennedy's back near the left side of his right shoulder blade and another one on the back side of his head. There was also an entrance wound on the front right side of his neck, but no exit wound. When he was taken to the hospital this wound was opened even larger by a doctor and used for a tracheotomy to try and revive the President, but the doctor still made note of it in his autopsy report.

During the shooting, Governor Connally was also shot. The bullet went through his right lung, came out of the lower part of his right chest, and penetrated his right wrist causing it to break. If there was only enough time on the Zapruder film for one shot, where did the second shot come from? If it was the same bullet that hit President Kennedy and Governor Connally, then that means that the bullet would have to have gone through Kennedy, through Governor Connally's seat, through Connally, and then through his wrist.

There is the possibility that the bullet could have done all of this, but it is very unlikely. The doctors who did Kennedy's autopsy concluded that the bullet wound in the back of the head was what caused the massive wound on the front of Kennedy's skull. On the film, Kennedy is seen leaning forward and grabbing his throat after the first shot. A second later, that front right part of his head explodes sending skull and brain fragments towards Governor Connally, This also caused Kennedy to jolt his body back against the seat and to the left and finally falling into his wife's lap. The ballistics reports concluded that the bullet that hit Kennedy in the back of the head caused the massive explosion in the front of his head, therefore the shot that killed him came from behind, but there had to of been more than one shooter because of the amount of time on the film.

When investigators began, two hundred and sixty-six witnesses were brought in to testify. Of these, seventy-five percent of them claimed to have heard four shots during the shooting. While the autopsies were being done, three bullets were found, of the which only one bore markings that connected it to Oswald's gun. The other two were the same size but had no connection in markings with the casings found on the sixth floor of the Book Depository at all. From this evidence, we can establish the fact that there was more than one gun and definitely more than one assassin. Who the other assassin or assassins were is unknown even though testimony from witnesses gives definite proof that there was more than one and that at least one shot came from the grassy knoll.

We can establish this fact on the basis of the head shots, the entrance wound on the neck of President Kennedy, and eyewitnesses claiming to have seen people behind the fence before and after the assassination. After reviewing and studying all of this information, I can only conclude that Lee Harvey Oswald was not the only assassin. He probably fired at least one shot, but there were others involved, and he was the scapegoat who received all of the blame. The fact that he was shot just two days later by Jack Ruby tends to uphold my personal conclusion that perhaps it was a conspiracy. How is it possible that Jack Ruby made it through seventy police officers to get a clean, point blank shot at Lee Harvey Oswald and then just stand there, gun in hand, just waiting to be arrested?

Half of the people in the crowd of reporters and newspaper writes knew Jack Ruby because he worked with a lot of them. After he shot Oswald, he simply stood there and said that he was guilty and wanted to be arrested. Another reason why it might have been a conspiracy was the fact that when the Warren Commission began its investigation, it relied almost completely on the five hundred page report made just two weeks after the assassination by the FBI. This report was written and based upon the assumption that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin. A lot of witnesses testified that they saw smoke from the grassy knoll and heard shots from that area, but the Warren Commission ignored this information. I can only conclude that there was a conspiracy to kill President Kennedy.

I do not know whether or not the government covered the facts up intentionally or unintentionally, but it was done. Never before has there been a case in which there was so much sloppy police work and so many missing facts. I am sorry that our country lost such a good president. He gave the people of the United States pride in America, hope in our future, and a goal to work for.
